How CDR used to be

HalcyonDweller··4 votes·280 views

It used to be that CDR was difficult to access in build paths, now it seems to be on a lot more items' statlines.

I'm not saying this is wrong or bad, just noting a trend.

How does it affect the game though? Are we / have we going/gotten to a point where CDR is expected for champions to have to reach their optimal balance state?

What are your thoughts on this topic?

It allows mages to do more damage. I think they added more cdr to stop the tank meta as well. When Vlad and Swain were op mages were really weak.

Huh, I had not thought of that. Thank you!

What about what it has done for other roles? Lots of Marksmen and assassins try to get full CDR every game too now.

I miss when Easy access to CDR was supposed to be one of the upsides to Supports and tanks specifically.

then SV is dropped to 10% and randuinns losses all of it. ontop of armor/mr Hp nerfs.

nah tanks are fine lets nerf their items some more and give carrys more incentive to buy GA.

Imo they should cut all CDR on items by half.
