Please dont make champion mastery cost 3k

Please. Thats like a champion.

BE getting multiplied by 6.5 makes sense. But overall gains arent going up. Meaning that the 6.5 overall as a net is WAY more expensive.

I have been saving mastery tokens because i want more champions and dont want to throw IP at champ shards. so uh. this is bad.

I think overall gains are going DOWN. They said IPBE will be about the same or slightly faster... except they mention that IF you disenchant your capsule champ shards. So if I don't disenchant my shards then I think I will make a little less.

mastery system needs to be reworked and be free. and also be infinite in terms of mastery.

I should be like mastery level 50 on Quinn, I have 1.2 million mastery score. Instead I'm 7, just like any Quinn player who plays her for a few weeks.

Personally i disagree i dont mind there being a cost to mastery as long as it isnt major.

Another thing is i dont personally want infinite mastery, but thats just me. Im a completionist, and its hard to complete something when there is no end goal.

Besides with the new bonus levels (following smite) as well as ranking, and new champions there never is really any more incentive you need to play more league. It covers most bases.

mastery isn't about completing the champ, there is no end to anything in League.

I don't believe they've addressed if the mastery costs are also going up by a factor of 6.5, it's possible they'll still cost 500/600.

The relative value of 500/600 BE is certainly different now though (previously that 500 BE wasn't good for much except mastery anyway, but now you have to decide if you want the 500 BE, or save up for 6300 for the latest champ, or whatever other thing). Since many people were willing to buy multiple 1.7k IP champ tokens for the sake of disenchanting into essence to upgrade mastery though, if the prices remain the same, it seems like things will be cheaper relatively speaking.

And for that matter, if someone was willing to disenchant two shards (costing 3.4k IP currently) for essence anyway, if the new price is multiplied by 6.5 than it's still about the same as before, if not slightly cheaper.

That said though, champ shards themselves are supposed to be more common from the capsules we'll get from level ups, so using (mastery tokens+champ shard) instead of (mastery tokens+BE) might be a much more practical option in the new system anyway.
