Shouldn't deathfire touch proc Lucian W speed buff?

The tool tip says if Lucian or his allies damage a marked target, Lucian gains a speed buff. However, Lucian does not gain this speed buff if a marked target takes damage from deathfire touch, ignite or even item 3151 passive.

Would this make him op?

Probably not broken if it did, but it'd be a large buff in a place he doesn't need buffed in. Honestly don't think dots should trigger effects the whole time. Morde gets a long slow that cripples immobile champions more than mobile (with rylai) brand and cass can proc ludens offscreen (i have gotten away from them, only to die because they got 100 stacks and the dot triggered it.)
