I fucking LOVE the new Jungle! Also tanks/Juggs feel WAY better now! Could be a great season!

Me as Jungle otp never liked that hardcore ganking meta. Now i dont feel forced to do the Krugs at every cost and prio Red Jungle all game. Now i can jungle where i want and can more adapt to my team and the lane i want to gank instead of being forced to do a specific jungle route.

Conqueror changes and the normal Mountain Drake buff make tanks more viable now.

Idk how op Elder might be (didnt have him yet) but lets be honest. It isnt THAT often that you even get him in a game.

Good Job Riot!

tanks are anti fun, they are the most boring to play and play against, they make assassins and bruisers absolute "which is a good 30% of the champions. hopefully riot realizes this before season 10 starts.

I just played a game taking elder and holy crap, it´s actually bugged and it´s activating at 30%.

Imagine being a full tank Sion with like 6000 max HP, some buggers focus you with some max HP damage and suddenly you are down to 1800 HP and you just get vaporized.

Or playing a squishy mage like lux after a teamfight, enemy Cait ult´s you when you have 1000 HP left with 150 armor, you only drop to 600 despite all her AD but you still instantly die.

This Fire execution is horrible to play against, like insanely much stronger than Baron buff and it´s a instant GG if either side gets it.

Gotta be honest. New changes for tanks make me very happy. Conqueror was a bullshit rune. True damage against tanks felt unfair.

But even worse? Spawning of the mountain drake. Imagine being so unlucky to get three mountain drakes in a row. Cool, you do more damage to turrets. Great. But y'know... maybe your team can group up or splitpush and take down those towers? Without help of an extra damage?

So as Leona supp, I very much welcome new mountain drakes. These changes are sweet for those few tanks.

New JG sucks i'm a support main now. Role is beyond busted

No they wont. They cant survive the laning phase with all the mages and ranged picks hanging in top lane. Conqueror is now used by mages and adcs aswell which just bullies bruisers and juggernauts out of the lane.Kennen Ryze Cassiopeia Jayce Vladimir Teemo Senna .

I hate the new jungle.

Only the jungler has fun in this season followed by midlane.

Well have fun and good luck finding supports in your games or ADC and especially Top lane who is completetly irrelevant now.

I mean, have fun being autofilled every game and jungle being the most queued up role in the game.

You will not like being autofilled as support every other game and forced into botlane.

Trust me. I will have my revenge as support main. You will play my role and you'll like it because support will become so unpopular again that you'll get the autofill treatment to it every other game

Have fun with your 1000 gold and predetermined items and watch your jungler fail.

When you get autofilled again please post back with your experience in the forum and let us know how it went. Good luck

IMO alot of the preseason changes are great but I think the after shock and conqueror changes are terrible. In the previous mastery system there was an armor penetration mastery and a lethality mastery. The armor penetration rune was incorporated into conqueror so it basically stayed the same. We currently do not have a single way to deal with people stacking resistances with our current rune system. I may be a DrMundo main but even I realize this is unhealthy for the game. The aftershock changes just completely ruin tank supports on top of their new bad itemization.

wow, someone likes the changes and people are incredulous about it. what else is new. this is honestly the best preseason in a while currently, desperately hoping that riot don't listen to the squares saying to revert everything.

Aftershock changes are very questionably a nerf. Damage is generally worse until full build. Resistances are a nerf until 115ish bonus resists on the appropriate side. This is... kind of a lot. You're getting less resist overall until 3 items, where you're getting about the same resists but you're probably getting more of the one you want most.

But it has a shorter CD, and that's important in lane. For jungle tanks I'd argue it's a straight nerf.

Mountain Drake (as well as ocean drake!) make tanks feel a lot better to play though and removal of true damage on conq feels nice.

I am yet to see Elder spawn but I have seen a dragon soul taken in all but one game. Kind of says a lot, honestly. Playing an objective jungler like WW and getting 4 drakes feels like a real win condition - especially if you manage to get 2 heralds in the process to break the map open.

The tradeoff coming in is that under the current meta, bot lane (specifically adc) feels pretty bad to play right now. They're more susceptible to the McGangBang since they dont earn exp as fast, and the new support items that are opening up that give AD supports more foothold (quick insert...I forgot about AD Thresh, until one just rekt my face with the new AD version of Spellthief's) are opening up another case of the supports being the real damage units with the carries...effectively doing nothing.

Also...everything is more fast paced now, and the changes push a "lets gank bot then take dragon meta" that encourages a lot of "snowballing the bot lane" as almost a by-product. They've made it super easy for one bot lane to fall behind (and the other to snowball) and INSANELY difficult for them to come back once they're put behind. The "lel ADC 2k17" meme feels like it also applies here.

I dont wanna make it sound like wanton shitposting...since the rest of this season feels pretty refreshing, I don't want to be the negative nancy. But I still feel like it's important to highlight the "danger zones" when it comes to player enjoyment vs frustration, if we're going to bring up the "awesome zones"

I was told that we got more damage because they nerfed lethality and buffed ADC items slightly
