The tradeoff coming in is that under the current meta, bot lane (specifically adc) feels pretty bad to play right now. They're more susceptible to the McGangBang since they dont earn exp as fast, and the new support items that are opening up that give AD supports more foothold (quick insert...I forgot about AD Thresh, until one just rekt my face with the new AD version of Spellthief's) are opening up another case of the supports being the real damage units with the carries...effectively doing nothing.
Also...everything is more fast paced now, and the changes push a "lets gank bot then take dragon meta" that encourages a lot of "snowballing the bot lane" as almost a by-product. They've made it super easy for one bot lane to fall behind (and the other to snowball) and INSANELY difficult for them to come back once they're put behind. The "lel ADC 2k17" meme feels like it also applies here.
I dont wanna make it sound like wanton shitposting...since the rest of this season feels pretty refreshing, I don't want to be the negative nancy. But I still feel like it's important to highlight the "danger zones" when it comes to player enjoyment vs frustration, if we're going to bring up the "awesome zones"
