make eve viable again

So frustrating to even play her becuase so many champions are better than her, lets face it, she got gutted, She cant go anywhere except for the jungle and early game if she gets invaded at any point, shes screwed. Everyone always says "permastealth isnt healthy for the game" There are pink wards for a reason. It wouldnt be a passive if it completely useless, right? I just wish she could go somewhere else. Ive tried taking her top lane, its horrible she goes oom and doesnt dish out enough damage, she would be an awful support. Obvi not adc and for mid lane ranged champions like annie can blow her up and yasuo and zed would eat her for breakfast. She is seriously garbage right now, everybody knows it. I hate that riot guts certain champions. For example, jax has ALWAYS been strong. I cant recall a time when he wasnt strong. Eve USED to be strong, she got gutted. Kinda like how they gut lulu (Totally different reasoning of course i understand that) But the point is they play favorites

I guess going from unranked to diamond in 18 days and 178 games means a champion is weak.

Lol "a bronzie": I scrolled just a bit and saw a few games where you fed off your ass with eve, you know damn well that first clear is incredibly hard and easily invadable.

You are bronze. That's point a. So you might wanna rethink the whole eve is weak line of bs and ask how you can play her better.

Point b is that her first clear is fine. For the vast overwhelming majority of players who fail to adapt from season to season and learn what new ways to do things let me tell you how to eve properly to open a game: take one small camp and a buff, preferably the enemy top side red or blu buff and then his raptors or wolves. Back. Buy hunters pot. Never have a problem with the clears ever for the remainder of the game. Get your second buff and head to top lane for first blood at 3:30. If you wanna get really fancy do both your buffs and one small camp and head to top lane for first blood at 3:00. You don't even need a leash to do this. That's how good her clear is. Learn to kite the mobs, by the time you have runic at about 8 minutes you don't even take damage from the camps any more, they just evaporate.

Point A) Being a certain rank will never automatically dismiss a claim so get that out of your head right now.

Point b) compared to so many other champions though? Shyvana, elise, vi, nidalee, etc will all just have a tendency to stay in the jungle longer. I usually buy hunters which is fine but it is awkward to transition into. You do realize i know how to play eve right? I am fully capable of playing her and knowing how she works. I am not sure why you are talking down to me. There is no reason to get condescending. Out of the assassin class she isnt doing the best and then to put her in the jungle where assassins dont really thrive in the first place is a bit awkward. If you leaned how to read you would see her clear wasnt my entire point. I was stating that id like to see her in other lanes as well. But no, you are clearly too busy patronizing me.

She's already ultra viable and flies way under the radar. IMHO she's the third strongest Jg for yolo q behind hec and rek. Tied with gragas.

As a person that played evelynn religiously and still plays her frequently I can agree with some points but disagree with others.

  1. Eve does have a pretty horrible first clear and most of the time you generally wanna go Back after wraith. Invades can really screw her early on but it's not that difficult to get back into the game compared to other champions since she has permanent stealth.

  2. Eve is a pretty solid pick right especially after protobelt was added into the game. A build I can suggest for you is this item 1402 item 3152 item 3116 item 3111 item 3102 item 3100 or item 3026 This build will give you a surprisingly good amount of burst and get you to late game, and make you semi beefy. Mercury boots can be replaced with others depending on how the game is going and how the enemy team looks, same with banshees you can always get a deadmans or randuins if they have mostly AD.

Over all eve is a really strong pick in the correct teams but generally a very bad pick on a team with a squishy top lane and hardly any cc on your team. She has her clear weaknesses and clear strengths. Personally I don't like eve's current kit but eve has always been and always will be my favorite champion.

My most frequent build for her is item 1402 /item 1414 <-- depending on who im against item 3100 item 3116 item 3089 (situationally) item 3152 and i almost always go item 3117 . It makes it easier to go to the backline and destroy their squishies. While also being able to outrun anybody chasing me

Last statement- i honestly could not agree more. Even at lower levels i enjoyed her gameplay. Her prescence in the game, her ambiguous lore and just playing her i find to be super fun it just frustrates me that she has been hit with so many nerfs and she becomes super team reliant if she actually wants to succeed late game

\Edit- my defensive item usually replaces dc and if they have a lot of ad ill go thornmail or randuins. If it is a lot of ap ill go abyssal or banshees
