Daily reminder that the hardest top laner in lol

Riven has almost 53% winrate and the highest playrate of any top laner.

another reminder that a player that averages 0-5 games on her has almost 50% winrate.

one of the top 3 hardest champions in the game. a lot of challenger one tricks in top lane are riven mains

but its not a problem in pro play. so lets not consider it. the champion i able to output the most dps of any champion early game. yet all of that. she has 54.5% winrate in 40+ minute games. in which shows the whole myth of riven falling off not true.

ever since we made her ult basically nuke any squishie at half health. she became broken. it was the most unnecessary buff in history of this game. next to that jinx buff that she got when she was one of the best adcs already last winter.

I've never seen azir, yasuo or any of these difficult ass champions reach anywhere near that. the most I've seen is 51% and a much lower playrate.

here is how you kill a squishie with Riven.

flash W a single Q cancel and R. that is enough damage to kill a squishie at this moment. because of how overfucking buffed his R active is.

if riven playrate was low. i wouldn't mind. mains that play such hard champion probably win more than the average player on an average skill champion. but this doesn't correlate very well. statistically shes out of line.

Yeah, she doesn't fall off. She's strong early and late. She's hard to catch when you're trying to kill her and hard to run away from when she's trying to kill you. She has lots off CC, DPS, and sustain with item 3074 & item 3812

Garen is a decent counter starting at level 3 and ending when Riven gets her lifesteal. Nasus will outscale her but she will control the minion wave early and push you in when she's ready to kill your mid. Chogath does well against her.

tbh it does't matter if she build sustain or not. shes the best of two worlds. aa carry. and an ad caster

Riven was hard to learn, not hard to play. But now we have practice tool, so you can learn her without wasting too much time. I personally don't play Riven (or Kalista), because I don't want arthritis...
