Not all premades are toxic

There's this huge misconception that the reason solo players hate DQ is because they get bullied by premades. I just wanna point out that most premades (in normals) are chill and just having fun. In fact our group is very friendly to solo players.

I dunno how the premades situation is in ranked. I guess they are more toxic? There is a lot of things wrong with DQ, but please dont blame toxic premades ... I've only run into friendly people in normals :)

Overall I think Lyte cycled out the most toxic players. Most people I run into are fine. I don't think toxicity is a huge factor in DQ (at least in normals). I look fwd to playing ranked this season if they finally fix it and make it worth my time.

Of course not, only 99 percent of them are.

In normals that's true actually usually true, but the issue is that normals aren't what people complain about, it's dynamic queue for ranked.

They also don't complain about it because of the premades so much as ranked shouldn't be based on the bad luck of not getting a 5 man queue on the other team with voice coms. It's not an example of personal skill any longer, it's about whether or not you can overcome substantially better team communication.

Getting bullied by a premade as a solo player sucks, it's happened to me a couple times, but oddly enough I don't believe I've ever played with more than a 2 man queue aside from in fun game modes, and it was only there that they were supremely toxic. Of all things, it was stuff like URF and One-For-All.

Aaaahhh that makes sense. People are frustrated about a lack of a balanced playing field, not the players attitudes. That makes sense thanks for that

"Don't tell me what to do oh my gosh! I shouldn't have to listen to all of you just because you are all in a premade!!!!!!!!" Despite that solo players do that to each other on a daily basis.

Their own mistakes? Better find something to blame. Oh, there's a duo? OMG REPORT THE FUCKING DUO!!!!!!!!!!1

People also bitch and whine about how matchmaking is goofing up and that they are "solo players versus 5-man premades on voice comms". Is it really true? Maybe. But does it make them sound like they're just playing the victim complex? Very likely.

So in the end it just comes down on people being people. Nothing new, and I doubt Riot would do anything about making a soloQ anyways.

Personally, I actually like working with premades because as a backline support main I can easily adapt to what they need. Sometimes they're "quiet" because they're on voice comms, but that's not a problem, but non-quiet ones are often enjoyable to be around with.

My guess is that what we see is a negative bias. People complaining about premades doing this probably don't realize how often they're playing with premades who aren't toxic towards them. It likely doesn't even cross their minds at all because the game goes off without incident.

At night I'll queue up in norms with my team of irl friends. We are very polite and aren't the type of premade that will single out people if we have less than 5 people online. (like we are a team of 5 but sometimes someone isn't able to play so it'll be us and a solo player or two)

In fact just recently we had a player missing so we queue'd as 4 and the Vayne that got put with us was toxic the whole game. At the end they even tried to tell the other team we were harassing her when we barely even spoke to her..

During the day I play solo and I havent seen many toxic premades
