How is one meant to climb in ANY elo, when every game, without fail, you have someone on your team picking a "vayne top" and giving out free kills and not helping whatsoever, in addition to people not knowing that you actually have to take towers to win the game instead of just killing them over and over again. Currently bronze 1, and it is excruciating to play ranked in a jungle/support role with either your laners having very little game knowledge, or them not seeing that there is 4 other people on their team that need help too. Is there something i could do that would push me out of silver and possibly further without having to wait for the "right" team that doesnt want to end world hunger?

You need to pick a comfort champion to main. Either top, mid to carry easiest in bronze. Don't play adc, and if you have to play bot play support. ADC is the most useless role in bronze unless you have mechanical skill and can dodge skill shots well because NO ONE will peel for you. Silver is same situation but at least you have people willing to support.

I get placed in bronze every season and have to climb out using a single champion/ whatever I consider my main to be at the time. When you reach a point of comfort go back to playing other champions/ making good team comps. I'm not a good player but I try and that's what's worked for me so far.

Edit: I forgot to mention, this will work if you can consistently dominate your opponent laner. If that is not the case try playing a strong early game jungler.

It's not about your team. You need to improve YOU. You'll get bad teams, that's a given in ranked. But if you can improve yourself as a player, the chance of turning around a bad game increases, as does your ability to hard win games when you get GOOD teams. League is about self-improvement, and as long as you do it, you WILL climb
