What do you think of the gutting of Abyssal Scepter and removal of Banshee's Veil?

As a dedicated Evelynn player, I was VERY disappointed the first time they changed my beautiful armor shred Abyssal Scepter and turned it into some kind of team-fighting bullshit..... but now? it's completely useless.

On the other hand, for the first time in SEVEN YEARS I might actually build Banshee's Veil. It synergizes very well with Evelynn's Shadow Walk and will protect from dangerous abilities like Enchanted Crystal Arrow, Sejuani's ult, TF's ult (AHAHAHAHAHA, suck it TF), etc.

In general, it might be an indirect buff to Evelynn but overall, what are your thoughts for your particular champ?

Gangplank I couldn't care less for the Abbyssal changes, but seeing Banshees more often might be annoying.

Riot forces meta changes by nerfing and removing items it's a pretty shitty way of keeping the game "fresh" when really it just makes people sick of bad changes they make just to force some trash champs to the forefront of play.

Its more of a issue they can't simply go with very 'simple' direct changes and i would not be amazed they have to spend a good deal of time to figure out possible work arounds to not cause 'one' group of the many groups of people who will cause a retard tier 'whambulance'fest' because they effectively gutted one champion just because its too prominent currently, especially if its been left alone for more then a year.

If Riot had the ability to directly identify what they need to do exactly to get all the champions on a even playing field so exploitative builds did not constantly cause certain champions to be overpowered, then i'm sure they would gladly of did that by now.

But you have to recall that things like: -Tweaks to Masteries. -Tweaks to Runes. -Tweaks to a Champions abilities -Tweaks to a Champions stats. -Tweaks to Items. -Tweaks to the jungle. -Tweaks to the minions. -Tweaks to the Turrets. -Tweaks to even the interaction of particular mechanics -Tweaks to so many other things.

Can easily lead to after effects 'EVERY' time because LoL is just full of champions that do many sorts of things and some of them can also go with alternative builds or 'alternative starting positions' in different lanes and jungles, so even if they only intended to 'weaken' one particular champion, it would just make some other champions stronger in turn, which can especially be shown for something like Graves becoming such a top tier pest in the jungle and i'm practically never seeing the very previously annoying junglers like GragasNunu Rammus Volibear who were just as annoying with the playstyles they were able to pull as beefie and good at harassing types of jungle plays.

Not to mention i literally never get to see Udyr Taliyah Sejuani RekSai Kled Kalista Azir and so on for most obvious reasons but some basically dropped off the face of the earth for me since i never see them in summoner's rift. Even when 'some of them' (Especially Kled) does have particularly useful advantages in the kits they run to outsmart the standard mindset plenty of opponents get into.

Meta i'm fine with on one end but really a Meta should only stick out by about a 5% advantage at most to the standard 100% the rest of the champions are sitting at, Not to where they stick out so much in power abuse that they are at the 150% line or higher. Especially in a game that has a very large variety of champions/heroes/characters/etc. to select from.
