Once ppl start playing tanks they'll realize they are OP atm.

Theres no more good anti tank runes, its impossible for someone like riven to deal with tabi + bramble vest now in lane now.

They just auto win vs any ad fighter or squishy in lane once they get tabi + any armor item since theres no way with deal with that until you get BC + LW, which is like 6k gold.

I was wondering about Sion really.

he gains permanent hp from an ability of his. and now he can gain even more permanent hp from the runes.

feel like he could get tanking super fast

What do you mean with cannot deal with tanks?

Do you mean they will just 1v1 you without you a change to fight? Which I highly doubt, as tanks damage is pretty crap. Some juggernauts (mainly Yorick) are strong though if you for some reason classify those as tanks as well.

Or do you mean you cannot 1v1 them, but they cannot kill you either?

If it's the latter I don't understand what the problem is. Should tanks just roll over when facing any top skirmisher or fighter?

The problem is that if fighters cant beat tanks in lane or 1v1 it means theres no point of playing fighters, since tanks massively outscale them into the late game team fights.

Also tanks can function with minimal items/lvls while fighters are completely worthless if they fall behind, so they are also much safer picks.

Tanks cannot function with minimal items/lvls. Sure they will do a bit better then most fighters, but a weak tank or a weak fighter like riven will roughly provide the same value; Jump in and land their initial CC and die straight after wards.

If tanks just straight up lose lane against a fighter, nobody would play one. Even if they would still be able to provide some value for team fights, they are pretty much a free kill after their initial engage/rotation, and the enemy top laner would just be free to roam do whatever he wants, including tower diving the tank over and over with their jungler.
