but as he is the hardest counter in the game to my main ( ) this rework scares the shit out of me.. to me it looks like flat out buffs.

like where is the counter-play? he dives in.. he CCes his ultimate is practically a ulti but instead of trapping them he becomes immune to damage outside of a range meanwhile they are CCed anyways from the knockup on his Q

his passive heals him.

i don't pretend to be an expert in the matter. i am far from it... and i will even admit some bias against him.

but honestly... this scares the shit out of me... i already have to perma-ban and this is going to make my life a living HELL..

he loses armor, magic resist, and armor shred.

this means:

he won't kill you as fast.
if he's not ulting, he'll die faster.
even if he is ulting, and he's ulting you, you have more opportunity to fight him.

on the flip side, yes, he kept everything else that was in his kit before.

thank you for his post, this is what i wanted to know although sadly.. none of those things he lost is going to help me in the slightest to face him, but it will help me counter him on the other champs i play.

Every champ has counters, that doesn't stop that champ from being allowed to be meta for once.

Actually xin doesn't have that dramatic of a winrate vs. nidalee (and that's factoring in a nidalee's skill gate vs. xin.) Xin: 51.8 nid: 48.2

Globally he is 6th hardest matchup. 9th in plat+ (using league of graphs which is better anyways). The op might be over-exaggerated but, any champ that is as braid dead easy to play like him should realistically win the match up, and these are just flat out buffs. With these changes he might be a better WW and that is kind of silly.

yes I'm sure... xin is in a slightly weaker state than he normally is that that bring him a little lower down the list.

i have over 1k nidalee games over 4 years of playing, im in the top 50 nidalee mastery in NA (from the records i can see)

i know her historical matcheds as well as her current ones, Nidalee used to hard counter Gragas (season 3-4) she used to be the hardest counter in the game to Nunu , who now totally destroys her

things change patch by patch, maybe this particular patch some champs have surpassed XinZhao for the top spot

but it donest matter... i know my counters...

XinZhao Diana Pantheon Garen Warwick are the top 5 counters followed my every other tank/ bruiser in the game. and 4 of those have been there as her hardest counters since i started playing nidalee day one in patch 3.6 ( Warwick was only after his rework)

Xin is he hardest out of all of them but at what point does it even matter...

the difference is you can get on the same screen as a Garen Pantheon Warwick

if you get in the same screen as a Diana or XinZhao your going to die..

why are we even arguing this. this is pointless

Win Nhao is flashy and slightly weaby, of course Riot is going to keep him broken. He'd have a lot of money making potential if his model wasn't so ugly. So we probably have a legendary coming for him if they're pushing his "rework" (which his really just a massive buff) forward.
