Eveyone plays the most op/broken champs all the time until riot nerfs them....right?

Example, right nowYasuo Vayne Twitch LeeSin are like the number 1 picks right now.

So , in theory, if Urgot was buffed to op status, would you play him?

Riot, can we test this theory? Would you buff Urgot just to see if ppl would play him?

He's been meta before - his kit is horrible to play against when he's strong.

So is Yasuo´s. Even more. And we still have to deal with it currently.

Well, with virtually illimited dashes I don't see much of a difference.

You mean dashes that have a on target CD and put him in melee range as a squishy versus 1k range point and click spell that shreds armor and reduces damage you deal? Yeah it's a huge difference.

Also TIL that

Lol no. You were not here for the era of Season 2 Urgot snipping you with point and click Qs from a screen away, dealing massive armor piercing damage while building full tank. Yasuo at least has to get in your face to fuck you.

Is too much toxicity for Riot to handle.

Urgot was dcently popular whenever he was strong, especially in S2, so that's already prooven and we don't need to repeat it.

Though there are still some champs that usually get played alot even if weak, and even if strong, urgot rarely gets over 10% pickrate - but compared to his current ~0.5% pickrate, that's still a massive increase

cant and wont play him because hes not a cool hot anime assassin with sick moves whoa

Nah, it's not really true. Ezreal has a 51% pickrate in Korea even though Vayne, Twitch and Cait all perform better.

well becuase they are great solo carries that are strong late game and really do not rely on a team

I have only one main, and I do not change it based on whats hot and not. True mains don't follow the trendy champions, they learn how to play against them.

Urgot could have a 100% win rate and still nope!

Well, there's hidden OP champions, usually champions that are only OP when played a specific way that doesn't get discovered/nerfed until a few patches in, some examples:

Urgot ban rates: 100%
