Remove that damage amp on Fizz R.

For anyone wondering, the PBE changes are out and here are the Fizz changes: http://www.surrenderat20.net/2015/01/121-pbe-update.html#more

There is no need to have a 20% damage amp on that ultimate. His ultimate already has a high ap ratio and does plenty of burst damage. He does not need compensation buffs for the DFG removal.

  1. the debuff doesn't effect the ultimate.

  2. other skills were gutted for it, making him much more all-in assassin-y.

  3. shuush, little baby, Braum will save you.

Currently fizz can miss his ult and still explode people with item 1056 item 1056 item 3057 . They HEAVILY Gutted his q and w it seems. So I am okay with these changes.

I actually don't think people will be happy until Fizz's abilities heal other people.

If he's so insanely broken then get out of bronze with him?

But muh "high skill champ".

It's going to hard to do that since he gets banned nearly every game.

I would like to start off with just stating that my only point of feeling on the matter is why they decided Ahri should lose the amp and Fizz should gain it.

That being said: You did notice that Fizz got a lot of nerfs though at least right? That will likely be the first thing people come in trying to hammer you with.

Pretty sure that rather than compensation for dfg, they moved the damage off of his basic abilities so that you have to have the damage amp from the ult to do the same damage as before.

Besides damage his ulti is also a deadly cc in every situation.

Urchin Strike (Q) magic damage decreased to 10/25/40/55/70 (+.3 AP) from 10/40/70/100/130 (+.6 AP) Seastone Trident (W) passive 's damage changed to 20/30/40/50/60 (.45 AP) from 30/40/50/60/70 (+.35 AP)(+4/5/6/7/8% of missing HP as magic damage) over 3 seconds Seastone Trident (W) active's on hit damage changed to 10/20/30/40/50 (+ 4/5/6/7/8% of target's missing health as Magic Damage) from 10/15/20/25/30 (.25 AP) Seastone Trident (W) active no longer applies Grievous Wounds to the target.

The damage amp was to make up for these changes to his other abilities. And it doesn't buff the ults damage, the 20% only applies to other abilities.

I don't know why the couldn't just nerf Fizz straight up rather than shifting around his OPness. These changes don't really make him any more balanced.

These were substantial nerfs. Halved AP ratios on one of his primary damage spells and big nerf to his auto attacks. As a fizz main I think this will put him behind several others assassins. Excited to keep playing the trickster and see how his gameplay changes!
