Unlike ADC's mages have to share a lane with fighters, mages, supports, ADC's and asassins (sometimes tanks).

Thank you! I used to be a bruiser too main but then I fell more in love with Swain when they reworked him and now im playing mid lane with him and other mages. I like the changes even if its a little tougher with the mana but a lot of fun.

I dont think mages are weak, but they do have one of the stalest build paths in the game. A large amount of mages build item 3285 item 3020 item 3165 item 3135 in that exact order. The mages changes didnt change that (the double pen with the mana/cdr item) I think that is what people refer too.

Gilius said basically the same thing after jungle changes.

Everyone, plz stop complaining so much that your favorite champs aren't meta anymore, anything is probably playable until high diamond, but by then you've probably realized that being adaptable is simply something that is required to be a good player. (Looking not only at ad players, but also ppl who play mages assassins certain junglers etc.) Becoming adaptable only improves you as a player.

Lucian and Jhin are adcs last time i remembered

Yasuo and Irelia are meta bot lane now, but that doesn't make the ADC class bad I may be biased since i'm a Lucian main, but they could try to learn Lucian if they don't play him

It was always like that, 2 or 3 adcs being top tier and you had to learn them, it never changed so learn Lucian or jhin or mf or draven

There's a difference between "this are the best picks" and "this and only this is playable"

Sorry but no, you could still play the non meta picks at high elo even if you weren't a hardcore main. There is no reason to pick any of the non top pick ADCs at ANY elo. If you think Varus was in any way affected by changes to items he doesn't care about then I have no idea what to say

Have you played on 8.10? Varus was building on hit/AP way before crit nerfs, the changes didn't touch him at all.

8.10 did change nothing compared to 8.9

and pros build him full crit+guinsoo on 8.9

yeah the probelm only arises when u can no longer play adc's bot lane... i would support that as an issue... but its not an issue.

whereas many junglers CANT be played in the jungler or ANYWHERE because of the jungle changes. luckily do to the changes to runic and item 1039 . nid is viable again after being complete trash in 8.10 but. not all other junglers go to get back in so quickly
