The report system is bad when the trolls are not afraid of it anymore.

I have had two games in a row where two people (two different sets of people on two different days) on my team trolled eachother due to one or both of them performing poorly in a game they recently played together. When I said something along the lines of "Please report these guys after the game" someone else on my team said that reporting is just a placebo and that they have told people to "kill themselves" and "I hope you get cancer" and have never gotten any sort of punishment. The two people trolling then went on to say that they have been reported before and will be reported again and nothing has happened yet.

This is a major red flag that there is a problem with the current system of repercussions for toxic players and trolls. There should not be a point where players breaking the rules no longer fear the possibility of punishment but that point seems to have been reached. A player should not be able to tell someone to "kill themselves" because of something that occurred in a game of league of legends and go unpunished. A player should not be able to ruin a game for 9 other players over and over again and go unpunished.

I have NEVER gotten a notification that someone I have reported has been banned (Which I have heard is a thing) and it gets very old trying to play a game knowing that at any time 1 child in a game of 10 can instantly waste at least 20 minutes of the other 9 players lives with little risk of being reprimanded. If Anyone has actually gotten a notification that someone they have reported for wrongdoing has been banned please let me know because it would at least show that Riot is doing something to try to fix this problem.

I have also sent in Tickets to report players in extreme cases of toxicity or trolling only to receive the form-reply along the lines of "Hey we got your ticket, however we can't discuss what actions will be taken but thanks for sending it in!" and I have no way of knowing if anything at all has been done to make players' experience better by banning trolls and toxic players.
