Tanks should be given the disarm mechanic.
This will help em do their job without getting oneshotted instantly and will be rewarded if they manage to land the abilities needed to proc the disarm mechanic.
This will still leave them open to magic damage but will allow em to cc lock adcs so their team can capitalise on a good engage and not have a fckin Lulu WER the ad and make it an unkillable god that kill everyone in miliseconds. Instead the adc can still be bombarded with shields but will have to move away and reporsition properly to get off the disarm mechanic or simply to wait it out before doing damage.
This will also help tanks deal with bruisers juggs in lane and at the same time you can gut their dmg output so we don't have some monkey running us down without any form of counterplay besides waiting for the adc to get 3 items to kill em.
All in all tanks will be able to do their job AND deal with their counters to some extent aka not get runned over because they will have enough time to disengage or even fight while the enemy is disarmed. Example: Disarming a Darius would make it easy as fuck for the tank to escape him and not let him get stacks for his noxian might and slows.
So in simple words. TANKS GET UTILITY THAT IS MUCH NEEDED ON A ROLE LIKE THEM AND GET THEIR DAMAGE GUTTED SO WE DONT HAVE TO DEAL WITH ABSURD DMG COMING FROM A GUY WHO HAS INVESTED ONLY IN DEFENCE.
