Can we nerf Illaoi now?

Can we stop pretending this champion is balanced? I had her down 0-5 and she straight up just went all-in on me and killed me. I understand in general you avoid fighting her while she has tentacles and her ult up but when you're 0-5, you shouldn't be able to beat anybody in an all-in period. She needs some sort of nerfs, the amount of healing she can do is insane and while I agree she should be rewarded for casting a good ultimate, it's too rewarding now. She becomes impossible to deal with. As a 750 stack Nasus with full build + triforce, I couldn't deal her. This is a problem.

That moment when you realize Illaoi's almost entirely reliant on her W which empowers her autoattacks to actually deal anything with her ultimate. That moment when you realize Nasus has one of the strongest attack speed slows in the game. That moment when you realize Nasus' Wither slows down the animation for Illaoi's W for some reason, which turns her into an incredibly slow-motion moon-jumping dunker. That moment when you realize the Nasus player is still complaining.

I know how to play against her, I understand her kit pretty well. I don't have an issue with her 5v5, I have an issue with her 1v1. "just disengage from her ult" isn't as easy as people think. Half the time if she uses it to simply harass her opponent down, they can never go near her again because they're too low HP.

You can't beat a 0/5 Illaoi with a 750 stack Nasus?

I actually don't believe you on that one. Although I do agree that her 1v5 potential needs to be nerfed.

She has no 1v5 potential against intelligent players. They just either back and make her ult useless or she gets instantly CC'd/GW'd/kited/armorpen'd/etc and shredded.

Riot made a champion with incredible strengths, and equally massive weaknesses.

Illaoi is OP is certain areas. But is underpowered in other areas. It is just the way she is designed. In my opinion she is in a pretty good spot right now.

If you take away what she is strong at, there is no reason to pick her.

Yo idk man but if u are full build, shes probably pretty damn close as well

shes got alot of natural ad and if she just went straight tanky no wonder u cant kill her

just bcuz u lose a fight to her during late game doesnt mean shes broken lmaooo

I was losing fights to her all throughout the game despite the fact we killed her 5 times.

Or you realize her E doesn't go through minions, is slow, is a skillshot, and doesn't deal anything by itself?

You could:

Dodge the E altogether
Realize she's bad if she wastes the ult just for your soul which won't do much anyways since it'll only make 1 tentacle unless you're a fool and stuck around too long.
Realize you can just back out and manually break the tether yourself instead before she can deal any big damage (unless she's with her team/has a lot of surrounding tentacles).
Realize QSS is a thing and it removes said debuff so you could just tank the E instead to prevent her from landing it on someone important and then break said tether one way or another and then QSS the slow/debuff so you don't endanger your own team.
Realize Nasus has a ton of lifesteal and is still incredibly tanky and has massive resistances/health.
Realize you shouldn't be engaging alone, which means you have your team, which means you shouldn't be an easy kill.

I'm going to stop you right there:

You will NOT dodge every single skillshot a champion throws out. Good players land skillshots. I'm completely aware of how her E works.

If I back out of tether range, I take a lot of free damage if I simply don't fight her and have to kill two tentacles. If I fight, she drops her ult down. Either way, she's harassing me where I'm left with little options. I understand this well, but it's not as simple as "just walk away."

I could've built QSS and it probably would've been a good idea, I'll remember that in the future.

She build EC, so my lifesteal wasn't so great and Nasus isn't naturally tanky nor does he have "massive resistances/health." She builds BC and shreds most of that armor pretty quickly and she will out drain-tank me. Like I said, I fight her and she can kite back to tentacles. I try to take tentacles, she drops ult. I try to walk away from tether range on E, she will get off a decent amount of harass. Then she does it again and again and this cycle repeats itself.

So despite the fact a champion is 0/5, I shouldn't be able to deal with her? I should just wait for my team to do something about her? How is that fair? I don't have an issue with her teamfight, I have an issue with her 1v1.

Well that's obvious. That's why champions get rewarded for landing skillshots.
Which is why armor and health items exist. Or would you rather fight her inside her ultimate and just die?

To be fair, Illaoi's decent-ish and Nasus is just in a really bad spot in general, which makes the fight unfavorable in the first place. You're also completely immobile and your playstyle involves you mostly just meleeing people to death, which an Illaoi loves to sit on. Also, didn't know about the EC.
??? No, it means if you can't deal with her for one reason or another, you should get help. Whether or not someone is 0/5, if they still CS decently-ish and manage to stay around for exp/gold, they will still get their items by late game. You just get them faster. Also, just curious, but why are you 1v1ing her in the first place?

Why is walking out of the E taking harrass? you should be able to and she wont be able to deal too much damage.
Yes you wont be able to dodge all skillshots but you are making it sound like u dodged none.
if she was 0/5 wdym u were losing fights to her?
I will hazard a guess you didn't exactly deny her farm too much as you probably were scared of her tentacles.
If she ults and you are fighting, why the fuck are you even fighting her... (why dont you bait her ult, then run out of the fight, then pick your fight with her when she doesnt have ult.
