No, I remember people complaining that they took too long to kill tanky targets and clear minions.

I mostly remember them for cockblocking everything and allowing "even supports to kill tanks and carries" At least according to complains at the time.

But they were actually useful.

Too bad the current turrets don't do anything after 7 min. Their focus is a joke, they do no damage. Champs should not be able to dive turret at 6 or any level take 8 shots and lose next to no life. Turrets should not lose focus or take 30 seconds to react no matter what a champ does if they are in range.

i remember old galio pressing w on himself and literaly healing himself on those turrets.

what you mean is probably the damage they had before they were made laser turrets.

Its been long enough that people equate the two.

IMO laser turrets that target all the minions at once and dealt 100% increased damage to champions would be amazing. To often i win games at ~25 minutes by power pushing and tanking turrets.
