Lux does not need buffs at all, however...

There's no denying Xerath is basically a better version of her currently

However, you do not offset this by buffing a champion who is already pretty decent. The only things buffs do is break her. What you do is try to differentiate her role from his a bit. Lux has pretty decent utility in the form of her W, however it feels very clunky and lackluster because of its delay and the difficulty of using it on an ally. You could simply remove the cast delay on it (meaning the shield applies instantly) and give more clarity to it when using it on an ally.

This doesn't buff her numbers and as a result, end up overtuning her. This gives her role much more versatility with straight up better utility than Xerath with less consistent poke (but more raw power in Q/R). Her utility isn't as good as someone's like Orianna but her damage is higher and her poke and catch potential is stronger.

"I'm going to downvote you because my waifu lux need many buff cuz it can't be possible to miss all skill shat and 100-0 tank"

If you disagree, post and tell me why

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the only buff shes getting something that lets her detonate E a bit faster?

E is already ridiculously hard (if not flat out impossible sometimes) to dodge just due to the nature of the ability, I don't think it will honestly change much.

Edit: I forgot they're also making W shield apply instantly on cast too, but thats more of a utility buff anyway.

Are they? I didn't know that. Is it on PBE? The E change is a bit unnecessary tbh but the W change is perfect.

Its not currently on the PBE, but Meddler mentioned it was set to be on it Soon™

Edit: I stand corrected, its now on the PBE as of today

Do you remember when they did that change to Gragas?

The difference is though, you could practically dodge Gragas' Q before that change, I feel Lux's E is a different situation since its virtually undodgable anyway even now, if the Lux player knows what shes doing (which is literally dropping E directly on top of you and then pressing E the moment its possible to detonate it, due to the AoE slow you won't get out of the blast range in time)

TL;DR: Lux's E is already SIGNIFICANTLY harder to dodge than Gragas' Q was (mostly due to the AoE slow preventing you from leaving the blast radius in time)
