The 3 Main Reasons So Many People Quit Ranked.

  1. Dynamic Queue. Speaks for itself.
  2. Season 6 is a wild unbalanced experiment that just is 10x more frustrating and less competetive than any season in the past.
  3. The Ranked system is 100% broken. There is no reason that a top laner that wins lane 3/0 should lose the same amount of LP as a bot lane that goes 0/10. K/D should not be a sole determining factor in LP Loss or gain at all, that would turn the game into CoD and chasing 24/7. BUT, it's absolutely stupid that going 0/12 and 6/0 lose the same amount of LP when they lose. It ruins everyone's motivation to play when they get a duo bot lane every game that just feeds like they're volunteers in Africa. You can't possibly say that because everyone loses it's equally everyone's fault. The top lane player has little to no impact on bot lane or even mid, and even the jungle and mid have no control over if the bot lane uses wards, their map, or their turret.

Everyone's idiotic argument is that if you base it off just win/loss, eventually players will end up with 50% good teammates and 50% bad teammates. These morons obviously never did a probability experiment with quarters in middle school, or played in low Elo. If a player who wins their lane 90% of games plays 100 games with 50/50 teammtes, they would expect to climb. However, that's not how probability works. If you play 100 games, there's a pretty good chance you will end up with 65% bad teammates, meaning you will lose about 60-50% of your games because you can't carry every game you win lane. Therefore, if this happens, which it does to a lot of people, you will DROP rank for winning your lane and playing well 90% games. On in the other hand, someone who loses lane 90% of the time with 65% good teammates will climb Elo easily, since it is a lot easier to carry 1 feeder than 1 person carry 4 feeders. \

We need a ranked system that factors in much more than win/loss. It needs to factor in objectives, turrets, kill participation, and death participation. It also needs to punish people who don't know how not to feed by dropping their rank HARD. Say you don't feed bad, like go 3/6 by the end of the game. That's acceptable, you lose 10 LP. You go 0/12 like an adc I had yesterday, you lose 25 LP because clearly you don't belong at that level you need to get out FAST before you bring down more people.

I used to think the same way, until I watched people who are actually good play. People who understand the game don't lose low elo games. Like if a master tier player played on a smurf in silver they'd win like 55 games and lose like 4.

Then I realized that even though I win lane as adc like 98% of the time, I was still bad. It wasn't my fault for losing the games where we had feeders, but it was my fault for not winning. So there has to be something else. You can win most of the games regardless of what your teammates do. Especially in low elo.

You just have to carry harder, elo hell isn't real. Climbing out of low elo is extremely easy if you're better than your opponents. If you aren't better than them, you deserve your current elo. It's that simple.
