Camille should not be able to Q turrets

If rengar, Vi, Renekton, and the 50 other champs that have extremely similar abilites cannot "Q" towers, there is no reason Camille should be able to. It is an unnecessary addition to her already overloaded kit.

Doing extra true damage to towers does not fit her role in the game, and is just more unnecessary power that shouldn't have been in the kit.

*I can already see her becoming the next yasuo. 4 years of the community asking for nerfs and we won't get them because she's fun to play.

She doesn't deal true damage to towers and Vi can "Q" (E to be exact) towers for an AA reset.

Vi is, in fact, one of the few who can use an ability on towers, and get bonus damage (not just an AA reset). But...it's supposed to. Those are wall-breaking fists. It's thematically appropriate. A duelist with blades? Not so much.

They even removed Trundle 's Q from the tower damaging abilities list. Not to mention making DrMundo bonus E damage not applied while aa'ing a tower.

Still, Camille gets to both deal damage(2 Q's along with usual 200% sheen proc form tri-force) and benefit from atk speed steroids in her kit. Nice................................................................................................................

Been playing DrMundo quite a bit lately in prep for using him in ranked. And his E still can take huge chunks out of the tower depending on how much health he has and has lost.

it's the only thing that makes him viable, his split-push pressure. Without Q damage to structures, there's literally no reason to pick him over another juggernaut, or even Veigar if you want to infinite stack (he gets bonus AP which converts to structure damage even).

Maybe not afk farm all game but she's definitely made to split push. Many of the best split pushers are made similarly. Excellent duelers with auto attack resets (or something else to proc Triforce), fair to high mobility, and good defense abilities.

Jax's bonus damage doesn't affect turrets. Trynd can't crit turrets. Fiora doesn't get bonus damage against turrets. Udyr doesn't do bonus damage to turrets.

Where are you going with this?

fiora's e is a "crit" off X amount of damage, one of the very few abilities that still does its damage proc on turrets. it doesn't crit them so much as add a little damage to her auto

That's why fiora's E is an auto attack enhancer. Camille's Q is the same way. It enhances her auto attacks. Do you need me to draw a diagram for you?

Fioras e doesn't scale off her base bonus damage though, it scales off her total damage for a flat amount , so her e does her flat damage plus up to 200% of her damage on second strike.

Camille however deals bonus damage on top of her normal damage on both strikes. the second strike deals her normal damage plus a bonus 80% which will ignore the damage mitigation turrets have (true damage does apply)

The point I'm making is her kit clearly lends itself well to split pushing, and Riot's been at this far too long for that to be an accident. Her Q doing extra damage to tower really is just icing on the cake.

Even Riven can auto reset on towers with her Q, although her passive isn't applied on the tower lol.

Tristana Diana Shyvana Ashe are a few examples of champions who can all do some extra damage to towers either with a passive or ability

Remember that Camille is designed as a toplaner roamer - like Quinn, Tryndamere, Pantheon, etc. The tower damage is a necessary part of her kit. After the next nerf or so, that tower damage will probably have to remain part of her kit.

Camille has poor waveclear (This is why getting a tiamat early is core on her, much like Kled) and lower than average AS for a champion of her class.

Additionally Camille cannot use her AS steroid to help her take turrets, so in exchange her Q allows her to damage turrets at a not agonizingly slow pace, and even then most of the turret killing power comes from the sheen/triforce proc than the Q itself.

It also doesn't do true damage to structures, only the 40/80% AD bonus.

Compared to every other diver/fighter Camille's turret taking power is perfectly in line.

Mastery 7, 55K points on Camille so far, she's overtuned currently, but not broken that we need to start stripping mechanics away from her.

Renek's w is only an auto reset for towers, it doesn't use the stun or do extra damage or anything like that.

Shes supposed to be in the "obnoxious splitpusher / duelist" class similar to Tryn, Yasuo, Fiora, Jax, etc. If she didn't have the damage then she wouldnt be doing her job. Maybe 80% damage vs. turrets but definitely not a full removal.

Actually she's a diver like irelia, xin etc. She dives a back line champ and tries to kill them, then dies afterward. She's not a splitpusher.

I understand getting the auto reset, but also doing extra damage is a little unfair Similar to how jhin's 4th shot can crit towers, but Fiora can't anymore
