Newer players seriously need a tutorial on the META

We are in season 7 now and the meta has been preeeeetty much same since after season 2. I understand that the meta is not a requirement to win games, but when it's being enforced at early as level 1, players need to be informed. There is so much toxicity around not following the meta that its turning new players off from the game.

The meta is something the new players are supposed to pick up by looking at others players play and beat them with. They need to be convinced its better or it is meaningless. Anyways if you are new your just better off playing a champion that you like , you can't expect players to play to win right from the start that will come eventually . Imagine playing a single player game where the in-game characters keep whining about why you keep using that low level fancy looking sword when you have an ungly one with higher stats in your inventory

Meta changes per patch... can't help it if people don't read patch notes or learn.

Meta champions change per patch but the basic lane meta does not

Lane swapping, Double Jungle, Roaming Support, ADC Mid, etc. The lane meta changes every season...

How often have you honestly seen that in regular casual play?! We haven't seen double jungle in god knows how long, the only ADC who goes mid is Varus, Lane swapping is only seen in pro play and high skilled coordinated teams. And it always defaults to the basic format that we're using now. Riot balances the game around that format so why not teach it to everyone. Am I not correct?

I disagree with teaching meta to anyone. However, some clarity to newer players on the general role of each class/lane might help some in regards to allowing them to flow better with their teammates.
