Conqueror vs Press the attack Top

A lot of people are complaining that it only gives 1.2-3.6 AD per stack depending on level (giving 6-18 AD when fully stacked)

But when it's fully stacked it converts 8% of the premitigation damage you deal to true damage and you heal for that amount. This is the part that makes Conqueror good.

I've seen players resort to press the attack, and while it's good, it's not nearly as good as Conqueror in extended all ins. I think Electrocute is a better fallback for a lot of burst/short combo champs like Renekton, especially if your lane opponent rushes a phage item too. I wouldn't reach for press the attack when Conqueror isn't dead yet

Well, I think you kind of nailed it. Not all champions have strong extended all in's. If you do then Conqueror is still strong for you. If you don't, say because you use your all in power in a single combo, then PTA or Electrocute is going to do better for you.

Doesn't matter if you're healing if you can't output enough damage to heal from. This is why Riven has been so strong with it, because she has a really strong all in combined with an extended trade pattern.

That and her AOE with non-reduced ratio on the heal-back cause true dmg......
