Too bad new Taric has basically no damage whatsoever compared to old Taric.

I wanted solo Taric to remain a viable pick (because fuck Riven ) on solo lanes and jungling... but it seems he simply wont have enough damage to solo lane. He has no real damage ability, no waveclear and no dueling.

RIP Solo Taric.

the new passive hurts about twice as much as the old one, and with enough mana he's nearly invincible, unless he ults, then he's totally invincible. E is now aoe, so his waveclear is as good if not better than befor. He has a less burst potential, but he can still easily 1v1 any melee with more sustained damage and tankiness than befor.

Well, as well his passive and his E scale with Armor, his passive gets 8% Armor as damage per hit and his E 15%. His passive also gives him a nice punch, starting with 20 dmg on level 1 (and remember, 2 hits, so 40 dmg total) and on level 11 it was 70 damage, while his E on max rank deals 230 base damage (30 more than Shatter did, and it is also AoE).

Hes also a tanky beast with his new W that gives him 20% bonus armor and a 12% max HP shield.

Probably going to cost a crud ton of mana though given that his Q's supposed to get more powerful with stored charges.

If you only consider spamming it for the heal, it's wasteful, but if you spam it for passive oh boy.

Taric practicaly has a Sated Devourer build in now.

If you build something like maybe item 3025 / item 3078 and item 3508 item 3046 you pack a whallop but wont have any mana problems.

I'm a little sad his dueling pattern isn't as consistent and he doesn't have the stat boost on ult anymore, but the increase in utility is probably worth it.
