Q: 18 / 17 / 16 / 15 / 14 W: flat 35 E: 18 / 17 / 16 / 15 / 14 R: flat 75 Like holy shit, those are like the longest averange cooldowns in the game, especially looking at Meditate that acts as auto attack reset. Sum of all cooldowns from any top tier champion is lower than Yi's Alpha Strike cooldown alone. Can we update his cooldowns from 2009 to at least 2015?

Meep Man1 votesHis Q's cool down is also reduced by basic attacks to essentially half it and his E is a decent duration steroid, not to mention his W is one of the largest sustain spells in the game. His R's cool down is actually pretty low for an ultimate.

Meep Man1 votesYeah and thats the lowest CD in the game. Yi comes in maybe 5 places after that for lowest cool down ultimate. The average ultimate CD is about 90-110 seconds.

Master Yi is an assassin that is based on resets, meaning his cooldowns go down when you get a kill or assist or are attacking, so you're supposed to use him in such a way that you make maximum use of his resets. That's what makes up for his long CD's.
His ult gets extended if you get a kill or assist and his alpha strike resets quickly if you are auto attacking. Yes his W cooldown is a bit long but it's also quite broken with blocking half of incoming damage. I sometimes run CDR blues on him it helps even more. And make sure you run tons of attack speed so his double strike procs more often and his alpha strike comes up as fast as possible.

CDs were long. W shouldn't be used as AA reset, unless you are sure of the kill. Q.. at max i had to wait for 6 secs or i'll just hit minions and bait enemy player thinking I'm avoiding them :D.
R.. I agree it's pretty high but with a kill/assist everything is reset so use it only when I need to. Not to forget, Yi build contains items that grant 10% - 45% CDR.
If his CD is reduced further, it'll be killing spree all the time.
I main yi yet i don't think his CD should be reduced.
Proelium1 votesIMO more champs need longer cooldowns. I don't like the game right now where everyone has most of their abilities up in 6 seconds or less (especially with so many abilities that last longer than a second)
Longer cd on high significance abilities is what i like :)
