Not losing LP during provisional has caused people to not care as much about winning

Having played a few games already and finished my own provisional and being matched with others whom are still in their provisional I've found the general idea that most don't seem to put in as much effort as they do mainly because they simply don't lose LP.

I've had a few people who straight up said they did not care cause "It's only one loss" to some people who would straight up afk.

This needs to be changed, I still play to win regardless.

Not only this. But some more bullshit is that I just went 11/3/5 and scored an S rank and lost cause my team is shit but I didn't get any LP. I get rewarded by not losing any. I say fuck this game now. Riot is slowly killing this game. Stop changing shit

It's too early to come to that conclusion, and as a consequence of that system, you're starting your placements 3-4 ranks below where you would have. So yeah. There is a reason to care. Not to drop 4-5 ranks.

This is day 3 of Ranked, and no offense: People do this every season: Random chaotic games at the beginning of the season. It's best to wait 2-3 weeks unless you are a serious smurf.

Um, except the fact that we start an entire division lower than last season and essentially are trying to fight to not have it taken away...
