If Jungle Is Strong; Why Am I Always Filled Into It

RookPusher··3 votes·1,424 views

And since it's always being filled, doesn't this inherently hinder Top Lane, which is by and large determined by the jungle for most players (since most players are in the bottom brackets - where Jungle is a consistent Fill position).

I see a lot of rage on the boards about Jungle being too strong. It doesn't seem to be known in the low-brackets. What am I missing?

Basically everyone demands the jg to be their bitch and most dont even know how it works.

They're losing lane, they blame their jungler for not helping They hate getting ganked when a lot of the time they refuse to ward or be aware of the map, so they blame the jungle for them dying.

Then no one wants to play jungle bc they dont know how to do it properly

Basically this. Junglers gank where it's most likely to result in kills/objectives. Idk where the jungler being the team mom who cleans up everyone's mess meme came from but it's always been here. It's why they buff jungle camps every preseason

"They hate getting ganked when a lot of the time they refuse to ward or be aware of the map, so they blame the jungle for them dying."

You know, the worst thing is you can explicitly warn people and they'll still die in 30 seconds.

If I ward the enemy topside jungle, and we see the enemy Lee Sin topside, and he's moving towards the River, and I ping on the Lee Sin, and I type into chat, and I send a warning ping to my teammates...

lol, well its quite simple..

jungle is an extremely influential role on the game.. however becuase of the horrendous changes to scuttle crab... getting even remotely behind in jungle is a death sentence

i u don't have any tower to hide under. if you fall behjind there is next to no coming back for you unless you have then helped by the laners to help defend you and they try to get you back into the game.

people say "junglers snowball the lanes"

and yeah they do... but only ONE junglers per game will do so.

once one jungler get ahead they can far too easily deny the enemy jungler from anything.. so people dont LEARN the jungle.. becuase its literally HORRIBLE to play unless your in a very even matchup or your winning..

becuase somthing as simple as ding once at scuttle crab, can set u 15 min behind

not onyl do u lose the buff, he then takes your jungle.. forcing you to be behind on levels, meaning you need to hardfarm to stay relevent.. meanwhile they take your camps becuase your below and levels and cant fight them. if u fall behind in jungle there is next to no coming back.

this happened as soon as riot made the stupid scuttle change. and removed jungle catch-up exp.

so if u fall behind... you stay behind, and get even further behind and are effectively worthless.

so who in their right mind is going to try to learn then role?

they removed trackers knife.. catchup exp, and madle scuttle a thing that forces u to fight the enemy jungler

if i kill the enemy jungler at scuttle.. i can just go take thier camps... they dont have enough ward to stop my invade, there is no "wolf vision" anymore.. if they hit a blast cone i know i can just run right toward them and kill them being they cant beat me in a 1v1.

if u get behind as jungler, then your jungle is completely dark, if u gank a lane you need to be sucessful and u share minimal exp and u get next to nothing while the enemy steals more of your champs.

there is almost no way to recover in the jungler if u die early and your opponent properly uses their advantage

i get a lead i snowball https://matchhistory.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/NA1/2896013655/207008136?tab=overview

eventuially vi as a bruiser can beat me we both transition into late game.

but the point is.. w/e jungler gets ahead pretty much stays ahead

Jungler is too strong tbh. The team with the weaker jungler usually gets raped.

Jungle is broken as hell.

Jungle has always been an influential role because of your placement on the map, much like a midlaner.

Jungle has been getting stronger because on top of the macro role, Riot has been strengthening jungle's micro aka dueling power, splitpush presence, and kill pressure via blue and red smites (they add a lot of extra damage and CC junglers didn't used to have).

So how come there aren't a lot of junglers and a lot of them are good? Simple. There isn't a lot of competition.

Look at mid. Mid is oversaturated with players because of how cool mid seems. It's got Yasuo, Zed, Ahri, Akali, mages, you can offmeta shit like Jarvan and Wukong, all the LCS big play champs generally can be picked in this role and because there are so many mid players, you have to fight to distinguish yourself. Mid players will often be inflexible into other roles but in mid itself you see tons of adaptation and evolution.

If you look at low level support play, you'll see supports are not nearly as good as their peers at most things. This is because there's still a big difference between low level support mains and autofill support players that they'll generally climb with less effort.

Jungle has both some of the most difficult macro play as well as some of the fewest players. If there are fewer players, there will be less adaptation and strong players. Nobody wants to get involved in it though because the difference between a good jungler and a bad jungler is so disheartening you feel it more than you would any other role and your team will feel it too. They probably won't be happy.

That being said once you get to Diamond+ every jungle main and their mother thinks they're hot shit so even when they get outjungled they act exceptionally fucking toxic.

Honestly i think people don't like the pressure that comes with playing the jungle role. Specifically low elo where players are not as confident.
