Yet another person shouting cancer without letting the new champ reach gameplay. Predictable, GD- I mean Boards.

Nice baseless assumption. Again, we don't even fully understand the new champ's interactions with anything yet. Try to reserve judgment for that time, eh?

Fair enough. That's literally all I ask. :)

Except releasing an OP champ means you never get to play them because of pick/ban. A balanced champ should sell more, I would assume.

And then the enemy team is in the ult too because the AoE is somewhat large (definitely bigger than bard's thats for sure) and your ult does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING (because then, NO ONE can die)

same thing as bard ult

Ah but you see, the difference here is that the AoE is so large, that its PRETTY likely it would encompass the vast majority, if not an entire teamfight.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious but I can't see the ult doing much, unless you have a way to keep the enemy from entering the area as well, Bard's seems to have more potential uses (easy tower dives; catching an enemy for his team to collapse on, saving an ally from a skillshot that would hit them, etc).

The whole point of using it is to drop it under both teams as a counter-engage or when you're losing a team fight. Or any time your team is a bunch of squishy high-damage carries versus juggs and tanks.

If you're losing a fight, it gives you more time to get the enemy team down to the equalized minimum. Right before the heal goes off, Xin or Syndra knocks 1-5 enemies out of the zone. Your team heals, and now your squishy high-damage carries have a health advantage over the tankier enemy team.

The whole idea is that the ulti gives your team more time to get damage on enemies before anyone dies. That can be because your team is behind, squishy, or low-damage. Or it can be because the enemy team is especially tanky, fed, or bursty.

It can definitely screw your team over. Like if you drop your ulti right before a friendly Zed's ulti goes off or right before your LeBlanc dashes out of a bush to save you. But it's a very interesting tool to turn the tables in a losing teamfight. I think it will be both very exciting and very frustrating.
