Skill expression has taken a massive nosedive in this game with damage creep at absurd levels.

Just played a game against a plat 5 Garen who was one of the most atrociously bad players ive ever seen. Starting at level 3 he straight up just ran at me used summoner 14 on me while im at 100% HP seriously expecting to kill me outright. He proceeded to do this literally every time his summoner 14 came off CD, igniting me at 100% hp and just running at me with Q. The kicker is i was Teemo and Blinded his Q every time. Yet despite that he still consistently dropped me to 20% in about 2 seconds. How is such a brain dead and skilless way of playing actually effective?

Remember when Garen used to be a tanky bruiser that did relatively little damage but would wear you down through attrition and didnt just run at you expecting to instantly kill you at lvl 3?

WTF has happened to this game when champions who barely did any damage in seasons 3/4 and now basically one shotting you? So much for skill in this game, apparently now its all about running at people and blowing everything without harassing first and 0 strategy.

Teemo beats garen pretty handily if Teemo exercises the right amount of skill expression.

You're able to run away between attacks and garen should be able to never get onto you without using flash. It’s a technique called kiting, very handy to use in this matchup.

Apparently waiting and oneshotting someone while avoiding being oneshot requires more skill than performing well over a long period of time.

At least that´s what I am told.

if you only blind his q, but still let him get into melee range and then sit in his spin, then yes. hes going to deal damage to you.

picking teemo isnt an automatic win, if you dont play at least somewhat decent, srry.
