Well, most mages (excluding Annie, Veigar and other targeted bullshit champs) have some form of counterplay. ADCs literally have none, since their damage is just about entirely targeted, with no drawback or resource or anything.

That would be absurd! Would imply that Riot likes to make sure the money makers are always strong in the meta, and doesn't give a fuck about anyone else! That's just crazy thinking. Riot isn't greedy, heavens no!
