Where is the Katarina Compensation?

Just played Kat for the first time after DFG deletion and her damage is noticeably low. But more than that, my issue is that next patch you are going to lower her QWE damage even more? I don't understand the logic, first you take away a core item that every Katarina player should build, then you nerf her even more one patch later?

I was 5-0 and I could barely burst the enemy Ori with Gunblade, Zhonyas, and a Large Rod and a full combo (Full ult + ignite). I know how much Rito loves zed for LCSBIGPLAYS and knows he doesn't need DFG but you took an item that was core on a lot of AP Assassins and instantly made them much worse.

i never understood why the champion with the highest rate for pentakills would need comepnsation for the removal of an item that only helped her slay 1 target more efficiently

Well here's the thing. Do not rush hextech gunblade. Actually, just don't build it. Your first item, unless you are laning against an ad, should be abyssal scepter. It gives you the earliest power spike, if you don't like that item then Rylais also looks decent atm. Also, Riot scrapped the nerfs that they originally had for Katarina, so we don't know how she is actually going to turn out anymore.

Kat really doesn't need compensation for DFG's removal.

There's no evidence of them lowering Kat's damage. The speculated changes that a rioter shared a bit back never made it beyond internal testing and were scraped.
