ali is one of the most unfun and uninteractive champions to lane with. An undodgeable displacement, knockup, followed by a stun because you made the mistake of being in the range of his abilities. Him along with rakan are the most boring supports to play against just because of how MUCH CC they give without even having to do anything as little as aim it. Imagine if leona could just stun you just by grazing you with her ulti, its the same deal.

Rakan knockup can be interrupted, and it happens a lot if you dont R>W. Leo ult has much more range and cant be interrupted.

But is way easier to dodge Leona R than Ali engage with E+Q that is point and click, and well, Leona R is her ultimate and not a basic skill.

And you just listed 2 abilities with rather long CDs to compare to a single ability.

Leona more than makes up for it with her abilities. Leo has a better early game, and more stopping power on a single target than ali does. Her engage also doesnt require 2 abilities, negating the CC effect from one of them.

no wonder he is broken with point and click dash + insta knock up and then stun on AA which deals tons of dmg and dont forget r which is cleanse + makes him unkillable

Pick morgana into him. Same with any other CC initiation supports.

Less useful against him because hes less telegraphed, but CC immunity + nulifying most of his damage renders him much less useful.

The Support Tank is the problem? Come on, man. I find it hard to believe you're playing a lot of support tanks if you're making this statement. Get counter picked on Ali and tell me he's broken. It just doesn't comport with reality.

Bro, come on. You mean to tell me after years of "the support gets carried" theory in League, now all of a sudden Worlds - which is not a great measure as it's highly selective, built teams - suggests Ali is carrying?

This is a momentary fed that will be dead soon. Numbers don't mean anything without applying some logic.
