E has better wave clear, Q is better poke and all in. Depends on how you play really, I max Q first personally.

Very much personal preference. I personally do both

I prefer E, makes trading easier and escaping. Not to mention it chunks if you get the 50% bonus.

Q if you want level 1 skillshot pokes, E if you want mobility to avoid THEIR pokes.
