TIP: If you are behind as an ADC, do not rush hurricane

As an ADC, if you are behind your jobs are a) get easy gold b) stay out of danger c) in fights, if you can't avoid them, quickly eliminate single threat, to turn fight 4v5 d) secure objectives e) push minions back when defending tower

If you are behind in levels, hurricane makes you a non-factor in all those situations, making you quite close to literally useless until you finish your second item. It can help you do a) and e) faster, but it is still usually inferior to Shyv or AD items even in that regard.

a) Hurricane allows you to waveclear faster, getting easy gold b) Hurricane allows you to waveclear faster, keeping you safer due to not having to take as long clearing a wave c) Hurricane allows you to damage faster, eliminating multiple threads, to turn fight 0v5 d) Hurricane allows you to waveclear faster, making it faster to set up to secure objectives e) Hurricane allows you to waveclear faster, pushing minions back when defending towers

On champions that hurricane shines on, NOT getting a hurricane is using the gold you do get less efficiently, therefore gimping your potential even more.

If you are behind in laning phase you dont wanna push your lane.You want to freeze it and farm under turet.Unless you are 1 of those adc who dies,came back to lane ,push ,dies again and again...Till you press TAB and see that your bot lane is already 0/17 in 20 mins.

If you are behind you simply do not have the 7000 gold to buy an infinity edge+Hurricane+t1 boots(+doran blade &hp pot) early on. You probably should upgrade your tier 1 boots so tack on another 600 gold. Assuming you didn't buy any wards or extra potions, you'd need 7600 GOLD to get this far in your build. I can't speak for bronze-silver as it's been too long since i've played there, but in gold/plat games just simply aren't still in laning phase by the time i've completed my second item. If we're so far behind that I can't teamfight at this point, I need to focus on farming and objectives. Hurricane is perfectly fine at this point in the game.

My main point however, is that when you are behind you can't afford to stray from cost-efficient builds. On many champions that build Hurricane, building a different zeal item is reducing the bang that you get for your buck. You can be 4k gold up on someone, but if you buy the wrong items it doesn't matter.

If you're behind, then by the time you start working on your zeal item, laning phase should be well past over. Unless you're barely behind in some kind of massive double sided lane freeze.

Well, yes, I do agree that the buying of a Shyvana would be a better choice than Hurricane in this situation.

i feel like every zeal item is super cost efficent for the stats they give for mid game.. honestly u want hurricane on adc like twitch cait varus etc on casters i usually take shiv bu anyways the point is... you want wave clear when you ARE behind so you can push waves and group with ur team
