Jhin did not need his last set of buffs just because he was in a unfavorable meta and lethality was shit, then he got buffs for no reason and lethality was buffed (rightfully so), now hes back to being in almost every game being strong early-mid-late, sure hes not as bad as draven to play against but he'll be soon enough when they nerf draven.

So lets not repeat this with ezreal shall we? Ez does not need buffs or %hp damage like some ppl have been suggeting because he sucks against tanks, he'll be good again once riot nerfs the tanks out of the meta for a bit.

EZ needs help cuz he is bad vs the lethality early game power of the adcs

he needs help cuz his build he has to build up to a mid game spike of item 3004 item 3078 while the likes of draven gets item 3147 and shits on people then gets item 3812 to continue to shit on people

ez is "bad vs tanks" cuz he isnt an auto attack crit base adcs that can dps a target with autos... he can kite very well and even better if he went blue with iceborn and might be ok with the armor of it vs lethality but it just takes so long for him to reach a power curve that you are put behind due to the meta we are in

Draven doesnt even build lethality, he can build anything and faceroll almost every adc in the game, that doesnt make ezreal weak its just draven being overpowered.

i said ez is bad due to the lethality meta and the likes of draven being strong early game... he is bad vs early game agro adcs which right now are part of the lethality meta

and i also stated its due to his power curve and item build path

ez isnt doing damage and winning trades in lane with a item 3057 item 3070 vs a item 3147 or item 3812

he dont hit a power spike til about 18 mins in game due to his build path

I think Ezreal's poor performance grew when they reduced the cost of crit. IE down 300g and the zeal purchase down 100g. Historically Ezreal benefits the least from crit compared to other adc which which he would be slotted against. I don't think the crit changes are gonna role back so he probably needed something. And tbh it's unlikely a bit of cd reduce on early game Q is a long term solution if the problem is stemming from his lack of scaling damage. Not saying he should scale like a hyper carry but pushing up the powerspike of crit reduced the window and effect of his triforce and or muramana powerspikes.
