'STOP TAXING MY LANE' *spams back ping*

Taxing? Oh, you mean shoving the lane out to deny even more gold and experience to the laner i just killed for you?

If you actually think i shouldn't be helping you shove your lane out after a kill and while we can see where the entire enemy team is on the map then you are clearly boosted.

It's not about getting the farm. It's about being able to control the wave. If I am being camped or heavily ganked and my jungler kills the enemy laner just as I am halfway to my lane, he better not push out the wave unless it is past the midway point of the lane.

You can help him push the lane WITHOUT taking the cs you know.

Like if you take the kill and then take every cs you're basically not even helping ur laner get a lead (specially if the other guy has tp, so in fact you denied ur own laner a wave or 2 worth of cs and full exp), also in some cases its better to just let the wave freeze instead of shoving it, specially again if the other laner has tp up so hes not going to actually lose anything by shoving.

Whats expected is : If you take the kill give the CS to ur laner, if he takes the kill then you can tax a bit.

You're denying YOUR laner more gold, not the enemy laner. The lane will be close to their tower so they can farm safely. Your lane will have to overextend even though they just died and are at risk to being counterganked.

You're denying the enemy laner, it's called bouncing a wave, you push your wave to tower and it pushes back to your tower by the time the enemy is back, allowing a freeze at your own tower because it goes back to it. I'm not even a jungle main and i support them taxing, its just the smart thing to do.

You're absolutely right. That could hypothetically happen. It's just probably not going to.

This.

I play all roles, and it's a very simple concept called "gaining a gold advantage". Shoving a lane doesn't necessarily mean "taxing", nor does it automatically mean that they need to take every or even most CS during said shove. The wave ultimately resets (bouncing the wave) back to or close to the middle of the lane, and the laner can continue to freeze, deny further farm, or back.

I often even ask my jungler to help me shove after a successful gank, whether he or I gets the kill. Because it's the SMART thing to do. Helps him out on exp most of all (which junglers often lack), and helps your 'team' get a gold/exp lead (since ya know, this is a team game), and deny the enemy theirs, which are all important for winning.

Simply getting as much gold as you can on your individual champion is not a healthy attitude to have.

If you get the kill and your lane ally survives, and you still tax, your tax is too damn high because you just got kill gold.

Oh who the hell heck downvoted this? How entitled are you to think you deserve all available minions AND the kill when you get it? Get the hell off NA please.

League of legends is meant for KIDS I hope you know that they dont have the intelligence yet to comprehend a rigorous thought in this game. Its a cash cow game for kids to milk the adults Not meant for young adults we can't even talk without a fear of getting reported? Its a police state community

Uh... isn't it just a bunch of young kids who are the pro league players? They put quite a lot of thought into the game.

Say that to the over-zealous Board mods...

You can't even post a censored boob or anything relating to skin contact here without getting banned or threatened to be so.

I think mid is always safe to push out pretty much (depending on towers down and how far from your tower you are), but bot and top eventually get to where you want to freeze it safely near your tower so you can farm.

I actually think this is very conditional and a lot of factors dictate the rules of ethical taxing in my head lol

I can agree that we should be pushing lane if my enemy laners are all dead or going back. I also believe in sharing the gold and XP with my jungler (or laner, but I'm not big on jungling).

I honestly don't mind if the jungler taxes my lane a bit. I know someone can get behind in that role and we need to be helping each other keep up. I'm also thankful they even took the time to come to help.

But if the jungler takes all the kills, cs, and does that multiple times, I'm going to get annoyed.

If I am not there and you shove my lane, unless you can shove it all the way into the tower before my opponent gets back or you plan to hang around and help me do it when i get back, you are handing my lane opponent free CS. This is especially true in a side line with tier 1s down. If the lane is already past river and their tier 1 tower is up and they are out of lane, go ahead. Otherwise, you'd better know how to freeze it or send it ever so gently my way. You'll still get some CS off of that. Oh and by the way, if the lane is in a state where it's frozen on their side and dangerous for me to try and disrupt it, guess where I'm farming? That's right. Your jungle. Excessive taxation means the lane peasants go hunt in the jungle king's forest.
