So model update = ban worthy?

Many people dislike playing vs Morgana. Usually, this falls under the "Well I hate her but she doesn't see enough play to ban her so I'll take a chance" but obviously, with her visuals getting an upgrade a lot of people are going to want to try her out so that argument falls flat.

People are simply being smart.

She did have some small adjustments to her W and her Ult as well. People just hate seeing "new" things, be them a visual or an actually updated kit.

a lot of idiots assume she got a gameplay update too, ive noticed the morg bans aswell.

to be fair, she's always been a versatile mid/support pick and the rework is getting everyone to play her more.

Nah Morgana usually has the state of: "Don't want to play against but her pickrate is low so w/e"

Right now poeple have a higher reason to pick her so people also ban her more often. xD

I'd been noticing an uptick in Morgana bans even before the Morgana/Kayle update became imminent. And I'd been doing what I could to get as many ranked games in as I could with Morgana before all hell broke loose.

This too shall pass. All the people playing Morgana just because of the VGU will be mediocre with her, she'll start to be considered weak, and people won't bother banning her anymore. I'll be playing lots of Leona, Janna, and Soraka in the mean time.

Morgana was strong befor, and the buffs weren't so minor. Her ult is now unescapable without hard mobillity and the W hurts quite a bit more below 50% hp Though as others said, it's mostly that morgana is a champ many people dislike to face, but since she wasn't overly popular she wasn't worth the ban. The small update now makes not only even worse to face, but also more popular, so a higher banrate is the logical consequence

She's always had a somewhat high ban rate due the fact she's a damn strong support.
