I only really have the jungler perspective. I play a farm jungler (Evelynn) which means my impact starts at 6, which is 7:30 game time usually with all the farming required. I'll usually gank once or twice in that time if lanes are pushed and willing. A flash charm usually nets a kill on anyone half health or pushed up and really squishy.
But here's the shit I deal with or wish the laners did/understood. If I clear my botside jungle and am about to do wolves, then bot spam pings for me to run down and gank their lane when its either in the center or pushed up to their turret while theyre low on health, I will usually ignore them and keep farming. Reason for this is 3fold.
-
Almost all the times I listen to these pings and waste my time running down there, the enemy bot just backs up randomly, the lane gets pushed out, or all 3 of us just die or almost die because bot lane is low on health and fights anyway or gets outplayed.
-
It puts me behind. The time it takes to run bot, get nothing out of it, and run back to wolves, means I have an even longer wait to hit 6. So instead of 7:30 I might now be waiting til 8 or 9. Meanwhile the solo laners will have 2 or 3 levels on me and be near impossible to kill alone when it would be easier otherwise.

It means the enemy jungler can invade my shit, take the scuttle crabs for free, I dont get to put down my river wards to keep track of them, and my spawn timers get out of whack. I want to avoid this headache because it makes me lose.
So for shit laners can do for me. When you see J4 invading a buff level 2 or 3, come collapse on him and miss a few CS. I can understand if youve got a huge wave under turret, thats basically kill gold, but for 20-30 seconds of your time, we can usually get a kill since the bastard is deep in our territory. This puts the one who's most likely to fuck with you behind. Makes him weaker, and makes all of us stronger. Kills are EXP.
If the enemy jungler is stronger than me and contesting scuttle crab, come walk over for 10 seconds and help me get it. Whether zoning or killing them it doesnt take long and we only stand to gain from it. More vision, jungler is behind, less ganks on you.
Now for dragons, since this shit has been really obnoxious lately. I am more than happy to take dragons, I usually hover near it post 6 or plan to be there with my pathing whenever its a minute to, same for rift herald. But when the enemy team groups up, keeps it all pink warded, and then bot and mid either die, back, or just stay farming, it is very fucking hard for me to take every dragon reliably. Sometimes ill die trying as I get 4v1d then spam pinged because no one bothered with objectives but me. Supports or AD should have that shit perma warded from the point it spawns until its dead if they want it taken. Mid and bot should also be there to fight.
For herald, both top and mid can take it just as easily as I can. And yet 90% of the time its me doing it along with dragon, the ganks everyone is so desperate for, and my own camps. I cant be everywhere, but it fucks things up when the enemy jungle gets herald, so I usually have to get it first. If you can take herald for me, take herald.
Last thing, when asking for ganks, look at my health and my position. If im midway into clearing a camp with 30% health, I dont want to stop what im doing, run 20 seconds in your direction just to give a double kill or have them run away and waste my time. I plan ganks on my terms, I path toward a lane and take camps when there is no good chance, and move into position before starting one if there is a good opportunity. I cant play firefighter every time someone takes a bad trade.
