@meddler why are we buffing leona plz?

Im just wondering why leona is getting buffs on the pbe. im not sure i like this, but maybe an explanation would help.

There's no real direct buff. Sure, added movement speed utility but her stun gets nerfed, and her damage gets heavily gated by moving some of it into the Incandescence mechanic.

the dmg on her combo is increased by 10 at lvl 2, cooldowns are better, range is better. has haste. the stun is .25 shorter, but overall the lockdown is the same length.

The thing i dont get is how she gets a stack of incandescence for every champion hit and 50 bonus range. So u can get up to 5 stacks....thats 250 bonus range on a melee champion.

those stacks only last 4secs. but if you're able to do 5 melee attacks in 4 secs, than yea. 100-300 bonus damage.

I hoping some of these changes might make her more available in possibly top lane

1 AA consumes 1 stack

Her E root was increased to 0.5sec from 0.25sec while the stun was decreased by 0.25sec. So the lockdown is pretty much the same

...that speed looks like a pretty direct buff lol
