Is Elise gana get nerfed now? :(

Not only does she feel really strong now, but shes #2 on Champion.gg for junglers http://champion.gg/champion/Elise/Jungle From the buff to her E, change from phys to magic dmg on her spiderlings, and i believe she also had a bug fix with the spiderlings too. Just makes me wonder whats the biggest buff she got? The increased duration on her E stun? Also allowing her to max W 2nd ultimately increasing her early game dmg AND utility. But then I just wonder, just how impactful was the spiderling buff because even before i get a 2nd point into W, my damage feels much higher.

I played quite a bit of Elise before this buff, shes a lot of fun, and even more fun now that shes strong.. How likely is she to get nerfed? :/

She almost certainly will be. People are bitching non-stop about her.

I just hope they nerf the 1.6 second stun to 1 second and leave it at that. 1.6 IS a bit long for a rank-1 skill.

From what they were talking about in patch 5.14, that's something they thought she strongly needed to improve her early game... I personally think the change from phys to magic damage for her spiderlings and 10%ap to 15% was pretty freaking huge (the increased MS Is nice too, oh and the bug fix for them) I feel like i have a lot more damage now with that change.

Yeah, I feel like the spiderling fix could be enough to make her viable again, no need for the huge stun duration. Now that they're worth a damn she's not forced to max out Q first. This is big because her Q barely gets any stronger per rank. The base damage sucks and the %health damage stays the same at all ranks.

Maxing W first gives her some sweet dps and decent clear speed.

Its interesting that you say this because i see people still maxing Q first @ the masters+ lvl (TheOddOne, c9 Hai, Nightblue3) And even pro builds.net. But when i look at champion.gg Maxing W first has a higher win %... maybe its worth trying lol. Do you have any personal experience doing so?

It did until new samples were factored in, now Q max is most common and highest win rate. It could be that those best with her use that order and skew the stats in the favor of Q max though.

Then again the combined flat damage increase from Q in both forms is higher than human form W, and spider form W gets better the higher her ult rank is and the more AP she has.

I just find Q to be more reliable because its point click, short CD, and fast. The Human W is slow, can explode early (minions) and her spider W relies on sticking.. Not saying its bad but from my view, Q just seems stronger.. I could be wrong though.

While the percent health damage stays the same, IIRC the damage cap against monster increases with levels. It's also a targeted ability, so it's more reliable damage when ganking.

It's possible that results in many players maxing Q first.

To be fair, some people will complain non-stop about any champion that beats them.

The complaints have to be taken with a grain (or bucket full) of salt.

Yeah it's entirely possible that she might seem some nerfs.

I love how quickly some people forget that she was a top tier jungler forever. It took only a few buffs to put her right back into a broken state.

"Elise is weak!!1 she is worst jg in game!!!"

I just played her top and did the most dmg in the game.. I have a feeling the changes to her spiderlings was a lot more than we give it credit. Not that the 1.6 second stun at 1 point isn't good, but holy shit does she do a lot of damage now.

If not in the next patch, then the one after as they have nerfs lined up for one of her main competitors Nidalee .

Its just nice to actually play an AP jungler.. I dont like nid jungle that much and evelynn is okay but not someone i enjoy playing every game.

IDK i just faced one and couldn't believe how much damage she did.

Yeah I was surprised too when i played her after the patch. I was 1v1'ing an udyr at lvl 3 or 4 (i dont remember) and i pretty much blew him up with 1 rotation lol.

She will get nerfed. She's as oppressive as she was in season 2&3 (I mained her back then). However, Riot has a trend to keep these buffed champions OP for a few patches. Sejuani was obviously too strong after cinderhulk came, but it still took over a month before she got nerfed. Expect the same to happen for Elise.

Well to be fair, they tried to nerf Sejuani... it just took a few patches. lol
