Please Stop Picking Ornn Support In Ranked

A) I have never lost a game to an Ornn, specially Ornn support

B) Ornn Support requires incredible teamwork for it to work because he doesn't really offer anything a normal Support doesn't do better/easier, and he is pretty easy to avoid.

C) Since he just came out, its not a good idea to pick him in ranked. Sure you may have played him, but your teammates probably haven't and don't know what he does.

D) After playing with and against him I have come to the conclusion he is fairly useless...

Honestly I don't understand why you are allowed to pick new champions within the first week in Ranked, but it would help if people would stop trying him in ranked.

His CC makes him not bad of a pick in support, but I'd agree lay off the Ornn if you have minimal games.

His CC is good, but its easy to avoid without set up or teamwork. Maybe at higher elo its really good, but at lower elo's id say its a terrible pick unless you are duo with ADC.

As a support main I dont think he will ever be meta in the support role without some changes. ADC's need protection early and i think because of his passive he is inherently a late game champion. Other than his Q+E combo he doesnt offer much support and for what he brings literally any "support" champion brings more to the table. Being able to buy items in lane doesnt equate to much when youre on a support budget and have to buy support items first.

He cant buy wards in lane so he will still have to back for pinks. He still has to go back to base to recharge SS and between these two things alone it kinda nullifies the usefulness of his passive.
The q+E combo is kinda bad for engage because its so slow and I could see it potentially ok for disengage if you drop the pillar on your own adc and then knock up the champs that are engaging on him/her but even then its not the greatest because theyve still closed some distance on your adc.
His flamethrower ability is meh for the role other than applying brittle and only a handful of ADCs can proc the extra CC length
His ULT is good but so is every other support ulti. Nami gets the knockup without having to redirect it and so does braum, zyra, and lulu to a degree.
