he took no resists in 2 game, pokes insane, untradeable with him ,i poke with kayle Q and many E attacks ,what ? he was just overhealing on what 3.4 s Q and 3.4E

every minion wave overheals ,everytime rushes will of ancient too good synergy ,he heals alot already but again vamp ,and more from E cant win kayle vs vlad who even wins vs him? yeah ,he had no spirit visage to overheal again

easily full hp in few minions then he dives with R and runs with W

You have to plan your attacks against him. Cuz he cant heal fast enough if you went toe to toe with him. However, you have to be careful of his W since that is his escape and possible game changer. Also I find Kennen and Mundo do pretty well against him. That is just my experience. Some may or may not agree with me

Vlad is really great against poke, and is a fairly effective lane bully once he gets his hextech revolver.

However, before levels 7-9, he actually has a really hard time sustaining because his Transfuse is on such a long cooldown for his main ability (9 seconds at level 1).

So his counters are basically hard engage. Play a champion like Renekton or Irelia and watch as Vlad tears flow.

Chogath is who I've found the most success against Vlad in the top-lane. Both have innate sustain and high damage output and Cho can nuke Vlad faster and has hard CC. Veigar is a fairly decent champ to have on your team if Vlad is on the other side.

*Saw Vlad once during URF.... It was horrendous.

I actually take Vlad against Cho for this same reason. Vlad is one of the few champions who have enough sustain to compete with Cho during the early game. As long as you play safe early, you will eventually outscale him; once you have some magic resistance (either item 1057 or item 3211) and a complete item 3152, you will outsustain Cho'Gath; during the late game, you will out trade him even taking the silence into account .

since youre close to forced getting tp instead of ignite and then i had nomicon item but his dumb heal wont let him drop down in 1v1 to halve the heal

Riven Renekton both have good early game burst while his Q CD is still high (like 9 seconds) so if you burst him down and punish him he won't be able to heal it back up. Take ignite for an early kill and for GW. You shouldn't lose vs vlad as riven. Darius also has a good early but a Darius who is too passive or too reckless could end up losing to vlad. So make sure you're good at darius if you take him into this matchup. Go for early aggression, but remember minions hurt early game and an early gank could get vlad snowballing. Chogath has sustain and if you're good at managing your mana and hitting Q you should be able to burst him down, not a pick I'd hugely recommend since cho's power spike comes only slightly before vlads but it works. Brand as a vlad player this guy gives me nightmares, although I don't see him often. He outranges vlad and deals waaay more damage than vlad early game and he has DOT which can fuck vlad in his pool. I've never won against a brand but like I said I don't see him often. Malzahar I don't see him often either but man, he has his space aids which can still damage Vlad while in pool and a tether/supress which Vlad doesn't like either. Mordekaiser He has his shield which absorbs all of vlads poke, and early game Morde is a menace. His E outdamages the early game heal from vlad's Q. And his ult is a dot which can still kill vlad in his pool. Swain This guy... oh this guy... Worse than brand and I'd go as far to say that this is vlad's strongest counter. This guy has it all, his early game, while it may be bad against other champions, really outshines vladimir's. His kit has a targeted dot and a tether dot. Both of which stay on vlad in his pool. Vlad will most likely not win this matchup if swain does well early. If swain draws it out too long however it might get bad.

i have beaten vlad everytime with riven. just minimize minion aggro and go wild on him.
