Just a word on premades

I see a lot of people come here with solo player experiences where they've gotten picked on by toxic premades

Would just like to add that the last couple times me and my bf duo'd and got put with a trio premade, we've also been harassed. One game was so bad, probably the worst online game experience I've had to date, I sent in a ticket about it (and Rito got back to me. I did include screenshots). I'm actually posting this because I just got out of a game with my bf and the trio we were matched with was harassing us and then trying to get the other team to report us when we didn't do anything wrong. Luckily the other team could kinda tell and didn't report us.

I've also queue'd up with some irl friends as a team of 4 who are all really polite and have had really toxic solo players try to use the 'everyone thinks premades are toxic' strategy to get us all reported by the other team when we never said anything toxic that game.

While premades singling out people is an issue, I just want to let everyone know that solo players aren't the only victims and it isn't always the premades who are toxic

Premades are almost 100% toxic. Five of my last 6 games had premades in them that were toxic. Junglers that only gank for their friends. And of course if you aren't in their group everything is your fault. This game is unplayable like this.

However to assume that all premades are automatically toxic is also toxic in itself.

I have a team of 4 other friends and we'll play at nights. Sometimes we can't all play together because someone is unable to, so we'll have a solo player or two join us. We don't talk much seeing as we all use voice chat but we will ping and we'll tell solo players "gj" and "nice!" when they make a great play.

I'm not saying premades can't be toxic, I've experienced it too. I've even experienced it when I queue up with another person. A couple times me and my bf have been harassed by the trio that got put with us, one was even so bad I sent in a ticket with screenshot proof after the game and Riot got back to me saying they'd look into it.

However I've also seen some really REALLY toxic solo players get put with us. We won't say anything to them to start it, they'll just do it themselves, but they'll complain and feed on purpose and act like a jerk the whole game. We'll ask nicely if they could stop and try to encourage them to work as a team but they'll get even more toxic. Then at the end of the game say 'they are premade and were toxic to me the whole game report them" when we didn't do anything.

Yes, premades can be toxic, but to assume all premades are toxic is also toxic in itself. There are plenty of solo players who are complete jerks that get no recognition.

There are plenty of really nice premades out there too. I've met some of them. Not gonna lie, I can get emotional from the dumbest things, but playing as support once the 4 man premade I was with went out of their way to make me feel like the mvp of the game and it almost brought me to tears. As a support player I don't expect much recognition, but the whole game they pointed out every awesome play or save I made, offered me blue buffs, and at the end of the game told me I was such a great player. They all gave me honors and I did the same for them. One of the best teams I've ever had the honor of playing with.

It's a big problem in Premades. If you're in a premade, your allies expect you to be super good at everything, and have sick communication. Don't live up to their expectation? And you're all trash. Then there are the other types of premades: Those who just ruin one players life. I spent one game, watching my ally get increasingly more frustrated because the enemy premade did nothing but take his jungle and kill him in his jungle because he was playing Evelynn. They were taunting him the whole game, I couldn't really help him as Taric, so we just kept bot locked down. But as soon as we started getting ahead, they did the same thing to us. Also recently, me and a friend in a 2-man premade with another team with a 2-man premade. We never saw them. Never. The jungler didn't gank bot where I was, he didn't gank mid where my friend was. He only ganked top: repeatedly. Our top Riven, who was obviously trying to learn the champ because it was Riven free week, had 7 deaths and lost 2 towers before 15 minutes. When I told the enemy jungler how big of a dick he was being for ganking top constantly, and that he should try fighting a real man (I was playing Braum manliest of men) I was met with the response. "Lol, this is what the game's about Braum." I hate the mentality that it doesn't matter if you win, just as long as you ruin one person's game. It's annoying as hell.

It can kinda go both ways. I've seen premades made of incredibly immature idiots, and premades made up of some really nice people who, even though I was the only solo, still communicated with me. On my team of irl friends I'm probably the one that pings the most, I'll ping everything and do each one twice to make sure everyone sees it.

I understand when people hate premades. I play solo during the day, I get matched with premades, some suck pretty bad. However when I queue up as premade I don't really like people assuming we are going to be toxic. We'll type in chat to non-group members and talk to them and we are never toxic. We've had solo players act as toxic as possible and then try to use the "they are in a premade they ganged up on me" to get us all reported when we never did anything.

Toxic behavior isn't a premades only thing, rather, its just a problem as a whole. I see toxic groups and toxic individuals. Sometimes I feel like groups of people act like they won't get punished because they are in a group..Idk why but they have that mentality. The worst group (which I sent in a ticket about) harassed us in game until I muted them. My bf didn't and he was telling me what they were saying. Then in the after game chat tried to get us reported and continuously cursed. Like, a chunk of the chat was just stars from them spamming curse words over and over again (not only is the harassment and bad attitudes reportable, but so is spamming). Then they told me that "we cant get reported for cussing" and that nothing would happen to them....sent in the ticket and Riot said they'd look into it.

We all have bad stories but I don't like assuming every premade I queue up with is toxic. I understand the hate and such but assuming all premades are toxic, which some people do, to me seems toxic also. There are plenty of toxic solo players too. The only thing we can do is report though
