Here are three reasons why Morello era was best era;

  • Gives detailed explanations for why nerfs occur with reasonable thoughts behind each action; Even if you disagree with Morello, his era was at least always operating with a plan in mind. Today's era where Morello is more of a back-player is characterized by "WTF ?" nerfs and buffs (Ex; Nerfs to Skarner, Rammus, Karthus and Anivia ... buffs to Riven, Zed and Lee , lol)

  • Character development/creation occurred in tandem with global power, rather than allowing power creep to just go unchecked, Morello would actively keep broken characters from remaining in power with the old mind-set "If 10 characters out of 50 are overpowered, then 10 characters will see play... if 10 characters out of 50 are underpowered, 40 characters will see play" , which is not a very good philosophy but it is way better than the complete non-philosophy we have today.

  • Morello, for all his flaws, would at least occasionally admit he was wrong and make corresponding changes (Ex: In that video the nerfs to Wriggle's Lantern which originally was heralded as a fix for many pre-existing problems).

  • Epic goatee

Prove me wrong.

Ahh, the golden days of "better nerf Irelia" posts everywhere

How I miss them lol

He even stopped nerfing Irelia after a while.

And he said he wanted Irelia to be more like a blade master from Blade & soul which I would totally approve of.
