We need more options to give feedback post-game

Hey Riot, we need some sort of feedback to give players so that, assuming it starts adding up, they have the opportunity to improve. There are a lot of games I'm tempted to say "you guys were not prepared enough for that game, and you shouldn't have played ranked with that set-up"

Frankly, I think it's inexcusable to go into ranked not having played a champion 20 times prior. Obviously Riot doesn't agree because there's currently no restriction, but that's baseline courtesy for the 4 other people playing that you showed up to do your job.

This isn't going to solve all problems. I'm in Bronze and honestly some of these guys beat themselves - that "gg it's over" at the 15 min mark comment is a giant red flag. But the ones who aren't yelling at people, or trying to surrender at every possibility should have a way to get constructive feedback.

E.g.

  • "You took a champ into a counter"
  • "Your item build path/priorities needs review"
  • "You don't ward enough"
  • "Your gank/roam decisions need reassessment"
  • "Reevaluate priorities" (meaning you recalled after an Ace instead of pushing the towers)
  • "Doesn't push objectives enough"

They aren't going to listen to people anyway, so why not give a print out of the data: "over the past 100 games you received 57 votes of "Your item build path/priorities needs review" - then have a breakdown of how many games that was said compared to the win-ratio in those games so you're aware of you performed.

I think you've got a tremendous amount of people who just go blindly into ranked for a good time, and those of us doing work need some way to give feedback for our own sanity.

Ha, you mean as opposed to just telling them in game?

I will say, there's a big problem I have as support where they enemies jump on me, and I start running, then the ADC does too. I'm like "Dude, if they do that, you need to scare them. Otherwise they won't stop doing it."

This sounds like a great idea. There are already some apps and websites that can tell you some of thse thing to help yourself improve like lolsumo, but nothing that you can give helpful feedback to other players

So basically a way for all the toxic people to flame post-game, too.

If you're really that much better than them and you honestly think they're open to learning, just add them. If they accept, pass whatever knowledge along. But no, your sanity does NOT need a way to give feedback, because if you're looking to tell them any of the above for any reason along the lines of "it makes me feel better", then you're not helping.

I don't really get that logic, but suffice it to say I disagree.

Also, how would it be for "toxic" people to "flame" when they're filling out a form? You don't even have to speak to the player.
