Riot - you deleted Atma's Impaler. You deleted Executioner's Calling. So I'm fixing the mess you made of AD itemization for you with one brilliant idea. Behold.

Diarmuid's Impaler (3000g) +60 Attack Damage +50 Armor UNIQUE Passive: Basic attacks against enemy champions below 40% Health inflicts Grievous Wounds for 4 seconds. (Grievous Wounds reduces incoming healing and regeneration effects by 50%.)

Lore: The name refers to Diarmuid Ua Duibhne from Irish mythology and one of his famous spears, Gáe Buide. The yellow spear Gáe Buide was said to inflict wounds from which none could recover. Fate/Stay Night fans - you know what I'm talking about.

I think they want to avoid grievius wounds on basic attacks. It can make for a "this item destroys this champion". At least with Morello you have cool downs and resource issues.

Changing it to be a spell effect would be good.

Eh...Morello's was an active for a while before they changed it into a passive. An active version of "grievous wounds for x seconds" just isn't all that strong. Except against Volibear
