Junglers dont gank the losing lane...

Just tired of having my games go to shit because top lane decided to shit the bed and go 0/3 in the first 7 minutes, and now the jungler is "trying to save them."

Then the enemy jungler decides hey Il just camp bot and wear them down by attrition.

Im tired of mid mid laners getting ganked into oblivion cause they overextend repeatedly, then jg coming "help out" and getting counter ganked by the fed mid laner and enemy jg and giving a double.

Im tired of jg trying to keep bot lane aflot by sitting in the warded bushes waiting for the enemy bot lane to give them an opportunity they wont let them have while secretly laughing that they can see them the whole time cause they have vision and lane dominance.

Just about the only time you can really save a lane and turn it around is if youre somehow 10/1/2 at 10 minutes and you can afford to just sit near a lane and make sure that enemy laner isnt allowed to farm for the next 5 minutes... if you cant invest that sort of time with that much of a lead, then dont gank the losing lane.

Dont gank... the losing lane.

Dont...

You are much better off making sure one of your other lanes is doing well. If you have a support with exhaust up, and they have some decent CC, camp that lane while top loses their ass. Is one of your bot lane players a potato? Try to keep mid covered so that they can roam bot with you and 4 man bot to even things out.

Just dont waste your time ganking the losing lane, you only have so much time in a match before teamfights start, and you need to influence the early game as much as you can...

Sometimes you have to cut your losses and focus on what you DO have instead of trying to get back whats gone.

Now to some this may just sound like an opinion, so I asked that some of our more skilled community members please comment on this concept and offer your advice on who should receive the junglers influence when a lane is severely behind.

Sadly, a component of jungling involves managing the laners' egos.

While the player may be losing lane, some of them are stupid enough to begin trolling, AFKing or intentionally feeding the enemy team if you leave them be.

The best laners are the ones who know how to lose lane gracefully.

I'm a jungler main and I agree, helping losing lanes is useless but NOT ganking losing lanes have consequences as well...if you don't gank them or ignore them they WILL end up feeding or running it down mid. I've seen this happen so many times and there's literally no way to fix the situation unless you carry all their asses, so just carry them like the Earth carries life

Heh, yeah Iv seen my fair share of people become emotional on the keyboard because the jungler hadnt been top.

Just would be nice if they would realize that helping them hurts the team.

there are cases that a lane only looses due of being super weak early game, or getting countered, however mostly of the time 1good gank can turn it into a winning lane. The main problem is not that junglers gank loosing lane, the main problem is, that alot of junglers don't realise when the laner keeps loosing it's lane due to bad Skill rather than CounterMatchUp. Ganking those players is ineffective because they will keep loosing, you have to give them a shit ton of ganks so that they end up winning slightly but they will still do a horrific job in the mid/late game most of the cases. That is the issue. The jungler needs to know more about the other lanes match ups, so that he exactly knows how many ganks does it need, to turn it into a winning lane. And in most cases it's simply 1gank, or 2. If the laner still dies after that, then the Jungler should never go back down or up there, and focus on the other 2 lanes, because that is enough information to tell "you" the jungler that the laner does not know how to use his advantage he just got from the Jungler. There are situations where junglers have a stable mid, even Slightly ahead and they can see that this midlaner puts up pressure to the enemy mid, without dying to enemy ganks, yet they somehow have that mindset that they have to win that "one" lane, and if it's not winning we loose the game, and that is just wrong.

Disagree. You need to give pressure on that lane even if it's not a real gank. Never showing up is a disaster for the est of the game. JG need to make rounds and show themselves as mobile and everywhere. Pressure on a weak lane will make it last a little longer even if it is a loss.

Fed yi is the exception for this. I helped out the 0/10 top, and we won late game.
