Ekko was an absurd step back in champion design.

Rek'Sai was a champ that had a cool theme, but her gender ended up being more unique than her abilities. Braum is a solid champion built for a specific role, at which he excels at. Bard was a great idea that was poorly executed.

Ekko is just a badly made champ. I was honestly surprised when I looked at his kit and it was an Assassin kit. His abilities are just more generic nukes and shields. Everything in League of Mobility needs to blink and be a nuke. The massive nuke on his ult isn't even needed, it's just tacked on. I really hope river king is a better step in the right direction cus Ekko set creativity back further than race relations in the 60's.

What the actual fuck? generic? Compared to what assassin is he generic? They almost all do the same thing only now we have a guy with counterplay who has to make choices based on his opponents choices.

The fact that this guy has huge counterplay on over half his kit is a Big change from riots previous assassin design. He literally cannot get ult damage on you unless you choose to put yourself in clone range.

Name an assassin without mobility , a nuke, or a shield.

Now name all the ones that could have their ult never deal damage to you because you chose not to stand in a certain spot and they cant force you to do so nor move their damage closer to you.

Ekko is very well designed and fun to play. Quit complaining just to complain.
