Why can't people just admit they just don't like Zed and Lee?

There always has to be a justification for it. It can never just be an acknowledgement of "I dislike playing against this champion"

LeeSin MUST be OP. High winrate? Well duh he's OP. Oh wait it's way below average. Low winrate in Bronze? B-but they don't mean everything, h-he's still OP. Bads just don't know how to use him! Good players know how to make him OP! Low winrate in Plat/Diamond? That doesn't change the fact he's OP!!!

Picked in LCS? Yep best jungler strikes again. Kass ~90% Pick/Ban in LCS: B-but LCS is an entirely different game!!! It doesn't count!! Other junglers clearly showing their superiority? Lee still gets picked and hes OP!

Wins in LCS? Yep another boring face roll thanks to Lee. Loses in LCS? It wasn't Lee's fault/They messed up!!

Champion gets buffs: WHERE'S THE LEE NERFS Blatantly overpowered champion nerfed: "OH BOY CAN'T STOP THE L($ BIGGGG PLAY$. LEE TOO GOOODDDD"

He's got an overloaded kit!!! So much mobility and damage! Rek'Sai released with massive mobility and damage. She's outright stronger than Lee. What an amazing champion Riot! Plz don't nerf her! She's the future of League!

I'm not even gonna continue for Zed; it's the same shit.
Always a copy/paste response. Always HAVE a response, no matter what. Number don't matter unless they agree with me.

**Nerf Lee Sin. He's been played in 6 consecutive League World Finals without dying NOR getting a single assist; only kills. He's been the most OP champ in the game for 5 years, ever since his release 3 years ago. He gets picked in 105% of games, and wins 70% of them. Only reason his win rates low is Lee Mains are losing games on purpose to skew the statistics. **

You do realize 99% of the people who cry on forums are in "elo hell" and try desperately to look like they have game knowledge.

Lee sin is clearly a strong pick, but there are better junglers.

Also you would be incredibly surprised on how many people try to talk out of their ass on these boards.

I have no issues with Zed. The only issue I have with Lee is the ward jumping.

I'd like to point out that solo que and lcs are two different games entirely so win rates are not accurate to determine if something is not op.

In solo que people only know two strats. Split or 5 man mid. Sound familiar? Just group? Let me split with tp? Who does best when you just 5 man mid? Amumu. Sej for a while was better at it in terms of other power points across the board and a range version of Amumu ult. But in general this is why win rates from solo que can not accurately describe if something is good or bad. Amumu is amazing in solo que yet hasn't been used in lcs in a very long time.

Lee Sin actually doesn't do well in these two strats that solo que does. So what happens half the time is that a lee sin simply gets "out scaled". It's not really out scaled just that he gets put in a situation that is just shitty for Lee if game doesn't end in 20 mins. This is why he has a medicore win rate in solo que and is actually not that great for solo que unless your jesus with him.

this. Solo queue is either 5 man mid hard engage, or splitpush with strong duelists. Other strategies like sieging, skirmishing, peel for hypercarry, etc. are harder to pull off without good coordination.

Good lord, the man couldn't have said it better. It's just the absolute truth. People bitch about him, but still BEAT him. They WIN the game against him a good portion of the time. Yet all i here is the complaints. If he was so OP, why doesn't he win games? Isn't the definition of overpowered that a champion that is stronger than other ones and can therefore use these strengths to achieve victory? Now granted, that ofc doesn't mean that a champ that doesn't win above 50% can't be too strong, but 44.8% win rate or whatever or 46% is just not enough to cut it in my opinion.

People hate flashy plays because when they're pretending that they're better players for playing slightly off meta champs or even when they're playing what's strong and they get embarrassed by lee sin, they don't have a comeback.

I actually like Zed. I don't play him, mostly due to negative stigma, and partially because of the expectation to be a god with him, coupled with the fact I am a terrible Zed. The Master of Shadows is pretty cool. He might need some tuning, but still a nice champion.

Lee Sin, however, I have no issue saying how much I hate that blindfolded, ward-hopping freak. He is simply annoying to play against.

I mean, what did Riot expect? They put Sin in his name. That is just begging for QQ.

Let me leave you with a huge knowledge bomb

I don't like Lee and Zed

high win rate in challenger/LCS. solo queue is bad in general, if you have ever watched videos of LCS players/coaches teaching diamonds how to play properly.

That's just how the forums are about him.

Lee Sin does have a legitimate design issue, but we can't rationally discuss that because of the board's Lee Sin circlejerk.

riot always shove favoritism towards LeeSin Zed seriosly lee sin has never been in a bad state plus they have almost 0 risk while they do their "plays"in few words they are low risk and high reward and lee sin is pretty toxic to play against with his overloaded kit

Because they are op as hell is high elo. Say all you want about winrates, both of them are still near the top of pick/ban rate and pick/ban has always correlated better with how op a champion is (well more zed than lee this patch due to the jungle overhaul).

Remember, winrate is a function of how strong a champion is and how often a champion gets picked. Pick/ban rate is a function of how strong a champion is. While winrates have their uses, what is the point is using winrates when talking about how op a champion is if pick/ban rates are just as easily available and correlate better?

Remember, winrate is a function of HOW STRONG A CHAMPION IS AND HOW OFTEN IT IS PICKED. Pick/ban rate is a function of HOW STRONG A CHAMPION IS.

WHAT?!? Cmon bro, people play lee because he's fun. Lee is simply one of the most fun champs that has been created. Since all champs are not created equal and not all champions' "fun" levels are created equal, there have to be champs that are considered by most to be the most fun. Ryze is just not as fun as Lee Sin, ON AVERAGE. But both of those champs have their merits, do they not?

Don't complain about champions when you win against it a good portion of the time. Pick rate often has to do with player perception, and Lee happens to be more fun than... Volibear or other champs. People wanna fly around the map, they wanna be quick and kill stuff. They recognize that lee's kit is weak for a solid 1/2 of the game, but that's alright. he's fun

I freely admit to hating them. I just don't hate them as much as Riven.

I honestly have no issues with Lee Sin. Sure, it's frustrating that he's so mobile, but at least it's not unconditional free mobility. For this reason, most of my hatred is reserved for Nidalee, Leblanc and Kalista. I don't struggle against them in lane, I just hate seeing them on the enemy team. It makes the game less fun.

Zed's a bit closer to annoying, but I mostly just hate that he's basically ungankable along with forcing a very specific build path in opponents.
