I like the Nunu buffs

The option to make Nunu a support for mages actually opens the possibility to make mages work in a duo lane much more realistic. Janna gives AD and Nami gives auto slows, those are supports that benefit AD champions. Supports that give AP, or add a burn to the next two spells could be supports that are designed to work with mages.

Lots of people on the boards upvotes comments for replacing marksmen as the only bot lane carry and this seems like a great opportunity to see how it goes.

If someone from Riot happens to see this, even if it doesn't work out the first time keep trying to make supports for mages specifically, I think it is a great idea and adds a lot of possibility. I'm stoked to see what you guys come up with to explore the idea of AP carries with a support bot.

I agree! It can feel bad to play Nunu and have to walk with your ADC at all times, especially when your ADC already has a Janna or Lulu already following them. Allowing Nunu to support potentially both the mid and toplaner in Lategame is really good. He also has great synergy if you want to go mages botlane, Ziggs for example.

Good buffs to a currently terrible champion. I hope these will drop soon.

Lulu used to give AP, but she'd just use it on herself. This is probably a big reason why supports can't buff AP. Riot is probably giving it a try on Nunu since he doesn't normally go full AP.
